Take a look at this link... http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/zC34HnrON-_wV0ZUkSfQFC6u...
You can now purchase almost any eShop game though your computer. A "Buy Digital" button now appears to the right.
The only downside is that you cannot use funds from your eShop account.
If it doesn't automatically download on the system, then it's a pretty useless service. You'd still have to manually grab the pad, go on the eShop, and enter the code anyway, so why not just buy it while you're there? You can even use eShop funds to do it.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
Yeah that's kinda pointless. xD
Hopefully automatic downloads will happen eventually though.
Has it even been confirmed that it won't download automatically? There have been a few reports of an automatic download, but you have to wait for the Wii U think go into standby (which can range from 1 to 24 hours depending on what your setting is).
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
I think I saw someone comment on Nintendolife's article about this saying that they send an email with the code to the email address registered to your account... At least there is http://eshop.nintendo.net/redeem
Looking at Nintendo's site, it does say that you can choose to have it sent right away to your system or to receive the code and enter it manually so there should be the option to have it download automatically once you make the purchase. But there aren't any games I plan on buying digitally soon so I can't test it out...
