Not really. Two sites have listed it, and they haven't taken it down. If it were just one site, that'd be one thing, but the chances of two sources simultaneously being misinformed or making a mistake on the same thing are slim.

I already have it on PC, and that will no doubt be the superior version, so I wouldn't buy it again.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

Nintendo Life and its competitors copy and paste each others rumors all the time. Not too unlikely the same thing happened here.
