I've done multiple internet speed tests on my Wii U and I've been getting 6.3Mbps download speeds with WiFi and 6.7Mbps with a LAN adapter. I'm also getting 132ms ping (I'm assuming it's testing the ping on Japanese/Nintendo's servers)? On my desktop, phone and laptop, I'm able to get 60Mbps download speeds with WiFi. So why isn't my Wii U capable of reaching those kind of download speeds and why does it keep connecting to non-regional servers? And what can I do to improve the connection?
I really want to play Splatoon and Smash Bros but it's nearly impossible to play because of how much lag there is!
