Looking for help. My son purchased the Minecraft Star Wars version using minecoins but he can't download it on his switch. After reading some forums (which I can't find now, but they are out there somewhere) we realized there is a problem with the Nintendo Switch and this game. It ALWAYS says you do not have enough space when you go to download it, even if you have plenty!
So now we are in a bind. We can't get a refund of the minecoins from Minecraft and we can't get a refund from Nintendo for purchasing the minecoins either. Someone has to have had this same problem. How are you dealing with it? I either want my money back or I want him to be able to download and play the game he purchased.
Please help this desperate Momma!

No we never got it resolved. So we ended up just being out the money. Such a scam!

@Tasuki no I did not. It's a wierd loophole you can't get reimbursed for buying minecoins and we used the minecoins to buy the star wars pack. I just read a bunch of threads and no one was successful getting anything figured out, its like it's just not compatible with the switch after all, so I just gave up. This game was only $10 so I just gave my son his money back....if anyone figures it out though post the answer all over the place so other parents don't fall into that same trap!

@ErinO Hmmm I would try contacting Nintendo for a refund, they might not be aware of the problem.

My son had this same thing happen. The Switch has a 2gb limit for games, regardless of how much space is on the actual device… We found that he had downloaded a ton of the free worlds so we went to the main screen; settings; storage and deleted a bunch of the stuff he doesn’t use anymore. After we did that he was able to download it. @ErinO
