Hi, I am just looking to see if anyone can tell me what the appearance of the nintendo 2ds XL touch screen should look like. I ordered one for my daughter's xmas and the delivery company left it out my back garden and never left a note so I think it has been outside in the freezing cold for about a week. Obviously I am worried that this has caused some damage to the console. The touch screen has an appearance of grey lines along it and I wasn't sure if this was normal or not? Can anyone advise?

@ngxox there shouldn't be any grey lines on the touch screen while powered on, or off. The touch screen has a bit of flex built into it, but it should be clear like the top screen.

Well, the pixels on the XL are big, so if you stare at the screen a bit too close then you'll see their edges.

Of course, anything worse than that is a defect.

That's true. The pixel lines are somewhat visible on a normal bottom screen.

Thanks! I dont think I can attach pictures on here. The grey lines are visible on a white background but less visible when there are colours on the screen so I think it is just the resolution of the screen. My daughter is 5 so I doubt she will even notice.
