Topic: My Wii is not working

Hello!
I need your help, also I´m new here...

I know that many people don´t play wii any more but I have a problem with mine.
The light on my wii isn´t glowing.

It happend (today) when I was playing Mario kart wii and it just shut off. I have installed a wifi-hack but didn´t use it at the moment. I had also tried "receting my AC" and think I have to call or chat with nintendo suport, but to make sure I´ve tried everything before!

Help would be appreciated!!

I think that it is dead and I had it for a long time (bought a used one and had it for many years)

@dHP There's 4 possibilities:

• problem with the Wii;
• problem with the power cable;
• problem with the fuse in the power cable;
• problem with the wall socket you've plugged the power cable into.

So, try a different wall socket, then try a different fuse, then try a different power cable, then try a different Wii. Assuming it is a problem with the Wii or power cable, get yourself on ebay and buy a replacement.

I´ve tried a different wall socket and it didn´t work.
About the fuse in the power cable, can I just replace it or should I buy an new power cable?

@dHP I don't know what country you're in. I'm only familiar with UK plugs, but most UK plugs you can unscrew to replace the fuse.

Well, i don't know what country is was bought from, probably Sweden or some other european country.
I haven't unscrewed the powercable, but will do that tomorrow!
