Topic: My New 3DS XL screen won't light up when I turn it on, and I did not have it in rest mode. Please help.

Greetings, I am new here, so I apologize if I seem blunt or rude. Around 8:00 PM I picked up my New 3DS XL (N3DS) and the screen will not come on at all; I did not have it on Rest mode at all, it was just on the charger. This issue has been going on for at least 30 to 40 minutes now. I leave it charged if I am not playing it. I attempted to turn it on 4 or 5 times and the same thing is happening time after time. Now I purchased a pre-owned N3DS and it gave me a problem before when the game would "pop out" but it was still in the system, so the N3DS stopped reading my game. That stopped a few months ago. Could this be a byproduct? Thanks in advance.
