Topic: Help with super Mario galaxy

Help?

I had to purchase a new Wii console And remote and now I cannot play my old super Mario galaxy disc. Pressing a and b on the start screen does nothing. Any ideas? The galaxy games are the reason I replaced my console 😢

@SheLuvsEquines Sounds like one of the buttons isn't working, that's my first guess. Let's test it out - on the Wii menu, try moving one of the channels around. (IIRC, the disc channel can't be moved around.) You do this by pointing at a channel, then holding B, then holding A, and then you can move it wherever you want with both buttons being held down. Let the buttons go when you want to place it to its new spot. If it all works, your Wii remote should be in working order.

Also, are you seeing any messages of some kind, by any chance? Or are you just seeing the title screen? In case you forgot, you'll need a nunchuk to play the game - disregard if you know this already. Contacting Nintendo support about it isn't a bad idea, either, they're actually quite good with troubleshooting. They have a "contact us" link near the bottom, which is what I use when I need help. Thank you! I could not move the channel either so have contacted the seller. Hopefully a replacement will do the trick!
