Topic: Accidentally pressing zr/r or zl/L buttons

Hi, can anyone please help.
When using the joy-cons separately in horizontal mode I can't hold and use the controller without pressing the zr/r or zl/l buttons. This is rendering the controllers unusable with games like crash team racing nitro fueled as for instance when using the - controller I spend the whole time looking behind me in a race due to the way the controller needs to be held. Unfortunately having looked in the settings of the game, there is no way of disabling the zl/L buttons.
Does anyone know of any way of disabling the zl/L and zr/r buttons when the controllers are being used in horizontal mode.

@Dodgedabullet1 Can you give me a photo or tell me how you hold the controller? There might be a different way but if not you can get rid of the buttons by changing the controllers controls itself.

Just buy a procontroller. Problem solved.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately don't have that sort of money floating about at the moment. Plus would need to carry the controller when out and about.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Problem is now sorted, you can disable the buttons within system settings which is handy.
