Hello everyone.
Was just curious if anyone could help my dilemma. The wi-fi card in my 3ds xl had become damaged. I tried to reseat it to no avail. I just purchased a new 3ds xl. I am fully aware that a system tranfer requires an internet connection which I cannot achieve from my source system. So that pretty much writes off recovering my NNID. My question is. Is if I rebuy a game.. say monster hunter 4. And I transfer the save data to a new sd card.. will my save data be recognized by the 3ds? Or will it be solely for that copy on my old system? I have no problems losing the games I downloaded and making a new account. But I dont want to lose the save data.. any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

I don't think the system will recognize the data created by a different system.

You could contact Nintendo. They may be able to do the transfer.

Exactly my worries.. if only this were an easier task lol.

The easier task would be asking them to transfer only the NNID. As far as I know, they can do that without physically having the systems.

You'll lose the save data, but all your games will be available to download on the new 3DS.
