As the title implies, what are your favorite characters in Gaming? Reasons for why you like them so much would be preferred.
As for my favorites:
#1 - TERRY BOGARD
Not much to say about this bad boy. He's got a great design that really reflects a cool, outgoing personality, solidified by his always-awesome win quotes. And you gotta love how he throws that hat! Everything about him is just so cool, from his clothes, to his fighting style, even even right down to his friendly smile. I can't express enough how much I admire him.
8. Elena http://images.wikia.com/streetfighter/images/7/71/Elena_big.jpg Street Fighter's Angel in terms of kookiness, but her fighting style is a little more down to earth. Still, it's hilarious to see her try to make friends with the fighters she just beat up.
9. Ratchet & Clank http://www.ps3informer.com/playstation-3/images/ratchetclankq... The greatest dynamic duo the world has ever seen! These cool cats are always pulling through any danger with style! The two work too well together, with Ratchet being the wise guy, and Clank being the serious dude. They're always trading jokes to hilarious effect. Really, I can't express enough how much I love em.
“The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. You have to make it fall.” - "Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them."
Don't think I can order them by likeness, but here are some big ones.: (also, some of them i just like becuase, can't really explain why) Midna, Toon Link(The Legend of Zelda), E102-Gamma, Chaos 0, Espio, Knuckles, Silver, Blaze (Sonic the Hedgehog), Axel, Xigbar, Xaldin, Riku, Roxas (Kingdom Hearts), Beat (Jet Set Radio), GLaDOS (Portal), Every single class in Team Fortress 2, The King of All Cosmos (Katamari Damacy), Yuri Lowell, Raven (Tales of Vesperia), Jade, Dist, Sync (Tales of Abyss), King Boo, Luigi, Blooper, Dry Bones (Mario Bros.), etc. ....Did I list too many? xD;;
1. Big the Cat (Sonic Adventure) For obvious reasons. 2. Grimace (McKids) I still have no idea what he is, but he is a purple McNugget thing and always happy. What's not to like? 3. Waluigi (Mario series) WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAALUIGI!!! 4. Watchog (Pokemon Black and White) It is always watching me, which means that I'm always protected...I think. 5. John Madden (Madden series) Virtual play-by-play analysis wouldn't be complete without John Madden. 6. Poncho (Animal Crossing) Me and him are best buds. 7. Shaq (Shaq-Fu) He can defeat anything you send at him. Pick Shaq and you destined to win the fight. 8. Glass Joe (Punch-Out) Always bet on Glass Joe. 9. Lizardman (Soul Calibur) It is an anthropomorphic lizard with a sword...'nuff said. 10. Tingle (Legend of Zelda series) Tingle, Tingle! Kooloo-Limpah! RUNNER UP Henry Hatsworth (Henry Hatsworth) "GOOD SHOW!"
1.Professor Layton He pulls off the top hat without being a complete snob. No one else can do that. Forever. 2.Godot (Ace Attorney 3) 17 Cups. And not a drop more. 3. June (999) If I say anything at all about my reasoning, it will be a spoiler. Those who played it know what I'm talking about. 4.Harry (Custom Robo) You might think he's just the hopeless loser who hits on anything without a Y chromosome, but in reality he's the hopeless loser who hits on anything without a Y chromosome WHO HAS A ROBOT! I mean, pretty much everyone has a robot in that game but... well, If you ever play Custom Robo, you know why Harry is amazing. Also he talks a lot. 5.Snorelax If you want to get past him, you're gonna have to get off YOUR butt and find a flute to move him, because lord knows he ain't gonna move by himself! A true role model. 6.My Mii Because I'm a complete narcissist. 7.Cows (Zelda Oot, MM) Holy crap these cows are talking to me. 8. Tallnut (Plants-VS-Zombies) Look how determined that guy is! It almost makes me cry. sniffle 9. The Entire Game of Conker's Bad Fur Day What? Not a character? That game has plenty of character! 10. The Talking Wii Balance Board (Wii Fit/Plus) Now here's a guy you can always depend on. I mean you can even stand on him and he won't even mind! Sure, he always calls everyone he meets overweight, but can you blame him? If he complimented you you'd have no reason to come back to him! This nice guy just needs a friend, and by golly it's your job to be there for him!
1.) Mario (Super Mario series) He's a classic character and a super icon. He's heroic, a great jumper, and has a sweet mustache. Plus, he seems very clean for a plumber. You also have to admire his patience for Princess Peach.
2.) Link (The Legend of Zelda) A man of few words, though his actions speak volumes. What makes him so cool is that each version of him is different, yet he was always able to save Hyrule (or wherever he was). Plus, he manages to wear a floppy green hat and still look cool.
3.) Samus (Metroid) Metroid's leading lady has saved the galaxy many times, making her an excellent hero, even after facing many traumatic events. She also can curl up into a ball without breaking a bone. Now THAT is amazing. She's attractive, too.
4.) Sonic (Sonic the Hedgehog) He's a speedy dude with an attitude. Other than a rough past, what's not to love? I admire the fact that he pulled through his times of mediocrity and emerged excellent once again. Plus, it's cool seeing both his classic and modern counterparts running together in the same game.
5.) Kirby (Kirby series) He's cute and cuddly, yet scary at the same time. He can eat you up and steal your powers! That's why I love the little windbag. Plus, It's cool seeing him take on different gaming styles (such as becoming a pinball, transforming into yarn, and splitting up into 10 Kirbys).
6.) Professor Layton (Professor Layton series) I've met many rude and dim-witted characters in video games, so seeing Hershel Layton was like a breath of fresh air. He's polite and intelligent, as well as an excellent puzzle-solver. He got even cooler during The Unwound Future.
7.) Bowser (Mario series) Not the most diabolical villain, I like Bowser because he's so funny. I looked forward to his stages in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door because I would always end up on the floor laughing out loud. Bowser's Inside Story was great too, because I had always dreamed of a Bowser game. I'm hoping for another one.
8.) Neku (The World Ends with You) Whether you like this game or not, you have to admit that the game had some great characters. Neku Sakuraba was one of them. At first a bit of an anti-social jerk, he warmed up as the game progressed, making for some of the most heart-warming moments I have ever experienced in a video game. He has a nice sense of style, too (digging the headphones, dude!).
9.) Viewtiful Joe (Viewtiful Joe series) Here's a guy I would like to be. He can fight crimes within movies, can speed up and slow down time, and has a sexy girlfriend who's father is (SPOILER ALERT!) a movie star. Henshin-A-Go-Go, baby!
10.) Fawful (Mario & Luigi series) Fawful is the unintentional star of Superstar Saga and Bowser's Inside Story. He's a crazed evil genius who speaks in broken English, making for some of the most quotble quotes in the history of video games ("I HAVE FURY!"). I also admire how he turned from a lackey into a main antagonist (who has a lackey of his own). Way to go, Fawful!
Raiden from Metal Gear Solid has yet to be surpassed for me. He's the only character in video game history with the balls to throw us--the player--away.
Besides him, some others are:
The entire cast of Nier. Monkey, Trip, and Pigsy from Enslaved The entire cast of Mother 3 U1 from Gitaroo Man And too many other good ones to list. =3

Do games need to be epic ?... or fun ?... Game reviewer of http://wiiwarewave.forumotion.com Wii #: 0018 2269 1524 9019 (codename Jnes) Also on PSN ! PSN: jnesDX
4.- Link (Loz: majora's mask) I like this link more because he has a lot of guts for being a kid...
Mentally and spiritually he isn't a kid, he's a battle hardened warrior who already saved the world once.
