Oh I see. We're doing some sort of competition with this where we have to be original et cetera? Then Raylax loses too, I heard the skydiving one years ago.

"Exercise restraint when playing with Lego blocks in Kingdom Hearts."

The meaning: Don't build your ship entirely out of guns. (No, this actually isn't non sequitur.)

Oh, second entry:

"Don't build your ship entirely out of guns."

The meaning: Don't build your ship entirely out of guns.

So did I

Awkward Zombie ftw. The first quote was all mine however, just referencing the comic and KH.

EDIT: And geez these are hard to come up with without referencing something you already know. I keep thinking of things like, "I wish my grass was emo so it would cut itself and I'm all out of gum", or something. D:

I'm sorry, I should have been more clear in my opening post, I will fix that now.
I am also sorry for when "I thought you a lesser man" -Robin Hood (me thinking that you were intentionally plagiarizing).

I don't see what I did there.

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

@Aviator Well I said in another thread that one is an inanimate object and the other is living. But in your reply you said that it's a quote, so I'm assuming you didn't come up with that yourself?

Ooh, Google shows it's by Patsy Stone from Absolutely Fabulous. Great show, used to watch it all the time.

If you know the water's too cold, don't get in the pool.

Don't put yourself in dangerous situations.

@Robo-goose I got that one without reading the meaning. Though I think hot would be a better expression than cold for indicating danger.

It would be better to bold the saying rather than the meaning to stop people from unintentionally reading the meaning first. Our eyes are drawn to bolded text.

Good point. At first, I figured that people would just read the words that come next, but I have noticed that when I am skimming through forums, I usually read the bolded text first. I will start fixing them now.
As for the thing about cold/hot water, I used cold because I've been swimming in very cold outdoor pools recently.

I'm pretty sure that you have some kind of magic hat that you can pull awesome GIFs and images from.

I have no idea what this means. I recall hearing it once and I've used it on couple of occasions.

If you don't like the food just shut up and eat it.

Meaning there will always things you don't like in life so sometimes you just have to deal with it. (inspired from my dad )

That is a great one. Very easy to understand.

Here's my favorite from Benjamin Franklin: three may keep a secret if two of them are dead
Meaning, if you want to keep something secret, then don't tell it to anybody.

Here's an original one: Put a penny in your pocket, and it will become a dollar.

Meaning, if you save things, they will gradually increase in amount.

A good saying for trail and error, I like it.

The future is easily changed while the past remains the same

Do not do things that you will regret.
