i'm confused how ad's relating to Video game content in the market place can bother people. isn't that one of the biggest complaints about Wiiware.

As for which interface is my personal favorite, bearing in mind I have no experience with the XMB, I have to go with the Wii/DSi/3DS interface. I like being able to have my games and applications organized the way I want them organized, not the way MS or anyone else thinks they should be organized.
XMB is pretty nifty. Why doesn't anyone like the new dashboard on the 360? It doesn't look THAT bad. >.>
I find it difficult to use. The games can't be organized nearly as well as they used to, and now there are large square ads where important things should be, like the game you'd like to play.
Solution: Xbox Launch (name of game) You also Have bing search and quickplay. Not sure how hard it is.
And Those are horrible solutions that don't even begin to address the problems I stated.
Oh and I just noticed that the new interface doesn't lable demoes. I seriously thought I owned Radiant Silvergun for a second. This is just stupid now. Why can't I just have it so it only lists my full games? The old Interface did that.
Even the PS3 doesn't clearly list demos. It groups them with all your other downloaded games.
You can sort them out, though, as you could with the old Xbox UI.
The XMB isn't made for a touchscreen device like the Vita, that's why Sony went with the Vita's "bubble" interface. If the XMB's icons were larger, then it might work on a touchscreen, but Sony obviously wanted to do something different.
That being said, the PS Store on the Vita looks absolutely terrible. It's so unorganized and cluttered.
I like the XMB out of all the interfaces Sony has made in the last few years. It's simple and it works. The PS3 and PSP both use it, so there is some unity there.

WiiWare has ads?
PS Store has ads, but they are all about new releases, sales, PlayStation Plus promotions, etc.
Definitly not the PS3, i think it's an extremely ugly and boring set up & design. The Wii's is pretty nice....But the look of the Wii Shop is extremely dull. Never cared for the XBOX 360's personally but at least it's more interesting and daring than the PS3's.
The XNE (the Xbox 360's previous interface) was better designed than the Metro UI, in my opinion. I can't stand how cluttered the Metro UI is, it's just ugly with all those boxes covering the screen.
My bad, I was actually talking about the previous interface. I've actually never even seen or heard of Metro UI until now, but that isn't exactly suprising considering i don't keep up with anything XBOX related.
Metro UI is the interface for Windows Phone 7, and will be used in Windows 8.
I'd say the 360 has the best. I don't know enough about the PS3s to make judgement on it. The Wii's is simple, but it's too simple, and doesn't allow the same freedom as the other 360. It's also really bland :/ Although I have to agree the new design is a cluttered mess. The previous one was so simple and user-friendly. Now it's hard just to find what you want, and it really does look ugly.
Also, I wish they'd get rid of that grey floor on the bottom of the screen so that I could actually see the backgrounds I have.
whaa. People don't like metro. Its like they took the Best bits from Ios/Android/ and webos and mashed them into a Minimalist design from the gods. The Console version needs alittle work but its a good first effort.
Are you telling me this isn't sexy

Always liked the Wii's UI. It's simple and you see everything at once for the most part without going into menus and all that. I also love the 3DS' UI.
Yeah, that works for a touch screen. I'd also argue that those look way better than the Metro, since there's no big square ads in the middle. It just doesn't work as well when you're using a controller, and I am not getting a kinect just to use the interface.
