There is a lot of GameStops where I live and a Blockbuster. Do these places offer disc cleanings? I just got Melee today from GameStop, but its too scratched for my Wii, so it won't work.
I usually went to my local movie/game rental store. They have a scratch repair device that fixes scratches and cleans them. It cost $5 for a game and $3 for a DVD, so they may charge you depending on where you go.
I have a retro videogame store near where I live that repairs discs for a small fee. You might want to look in the phone book or google it and see if theres a place in your area. My only other suggestion is to maybe take the game back to Gamestop and exchange it.
