@Diddy_kong The lack of respect from media and fans for Eli has always drove me crazy. The guy has 2 rings and they came against what all the media loves to praise as the greatest team in football. Every time I have this discussion I always come back to Eli as being better because of 2 rings and Peyton has only 1 but if Peyton wins one more before his career ends then it's a different story.

What is wrong with Detroit? They have a very talented roster but can't ever put a complete game together, offensively and defensively. Stafford was 0-13 on the road against teams with winning records. 1 playoff win in my lifetime. Detroit had plenty of opportunities in that game, blaming the game on that one call is silly. I feel bad for my long suffering in-laws.

With that said since the Lions are out guess I am going to have to root for the Packers.
Get your facts straight, it's now 0-17 after yesterday's loss! To me they played a poor second half. We all knew the Cowboys weren't going to be held to under 20 points. The Lions could only get 3 points in the second half and that's not going to beat any playoff team.

What certain NFL players do outside of football should not have bearing on football itself. With the exception of Mr. Murder, sports should be about what happens between the lines, not outside them. The NFL and its bad commissioner overstepped its bounds on Rice, and Adrian Peterson, and Greg Hardy, and whoever else. You leave it up to the courts to decide these things, and when they decide something, it's done. Double jeopardy, my friends. I don't particularly blame the Ravens for releasing Ray Rice; I blame Roger BADdell for allowing pissed-off "justice" warriors to dictate the facts. We know she initiated contact; why is that glossed over? If someone comes at you, you knock 'em down. I don't care who they are. Why are these players, who have either been acquitted in a court of law or served their time, still wiling away while Ndamukong Suh and his trash were allowed anywhere near a field?
