Topic: What games do you want to see return?

@Kanbei Man it's really been like 7 years. In a post Tekken 7 and Fighting EX Layer world it honestly makes no sense VF has been neglected this long until now

Hmmm... I’d like a spiritual successor to The World Ends With You. Different characters, maybe a different setting, but building on the original or modified (iOS) gameplay ideas.

Syndicate deserves another chance. Don’t think the last reboot offered what people wanted.

I like the earlier suggestions of both The Settlers and Monkey Island - I can get behind both of them.

Shinobi... Although I never tried the 3DS one.

Follow-up to the Mickey Mouse Illusion games.

Phantasy Star - a proper, non-online one. And Golden Sun - why not? - if we’re resurrecting JRPGs.

Wario Land
Pokepark (or some kind of spiritual successor that's less mini game based)
A new Spyro game
Jak and Daxter (particularly one that's more like the first one)
Portal
Sonic Riders

I hope Demon's Souls on PS5 generates enough hype and sales that Sony considers turning it into a new series of games adjunct from Dark Souls. Demon's is definitely far from my favorite Souls title, but the remake looks incredible and I will always love Boletaria as a setting almost as much as Yharnam or Ashina

@TheFrenchiestFry If they do Devil Survivor 3 it would break my heart if its tone was similar to Record Breaker. Overclocked managed to do such a great job with it's story and characters that I have a hard time believing how far it fell.

Etrian Odyssey

Firstly, I'm hoping the Panzer Dragoon I & II remakes sell well enough for Sega to allow Forever Entertainment to remake Panzer Dragoon Saga as well. Secondly, I think a third entry in the Sin & Punishment series is overdue; unfortunately the developer (Treasure) has gone dark since the Switch release of Ikaruga. And lastly, it's a shame Monolith Productions is stuck making those "Middle-Earth: Shadows of" games for Warner Bros., because I really would like another entry in either the Condemned or F.E.A.R. series of games one of these days.

• 3D platformer collect-a-thon Donkey Kong, following on from DK64. I don't care if Rare has been sold blah blah blah, just make it happen.
• 1080 Snowboarding - at the time on N64, no other game of the type came near it. Time to revive it.
• Diddy Kong Racing
• Banjo-Kazooie - yes I know Yooka-Laylee exists but any chance the bear and bird can return properly, instead of the crappy 'Nuts and Bolts' entry.
• F-Zero - it really is poor that there hasn't been another one for a long time. Would love to know what the excuse is.
• ClayFighter - loved the SNES games.
