Felt like playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe the last couple of days... again. I kind of play it a lot, lol. I played a bit of Paper Mario as well, the original one. The most recent posts from @Zuljaras and @StarPoint are reminding me to head back to Breath of the Wild... I know I have one more Divine Beast and I want to at least finish the main story before Tears of the Kingdom comes out!
@Tyranexx Yeah, 100%ing Sunshine is... not very pleasant. Many of those blue coins are indeed a massive pain to find, and don't even get me started on those bonus levels.

@MarioLover92 From what I understand, people have collected them all, but many who do accomplish that monumental feat apparently loathe the game after doing so lol. I just plan on taking my time with it and going with the flow. Not sure if I'll finish it, but it hasn't scared me off yet.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet - The Indigo Disk, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
Stuck working offshore with only my 3DS for company so decided to bust out Professor Layton and the Curious Village.
I've recent bought most of the others so decided to go back to the first one before I tackle the rest.
Still as good as I remember and while I've forgotten most the story, some of the puzzle solutions must've stuck in the back of my mind somewhere - or maybe I'm just not as dumb as I used to be when I first played π
i recently paused my playthrough of Danganronpa Goodbye Despair to start Metroid Prime Remastered, also playing some Project Diva on the side as always xD
I've tried getting into 2D Metroid twice before and both times I was burned pretty badly (and not just on Norfair). Let's see if this is the one to finally rope me in I entirely blame/thank @StarPoint for pushing me to give Fusion a chance XD

@Fizza I hope you like this one! It's quite a bit less confusing and open-ended than pretty much all of the other 2D games so I'm hoping you'll click with it a little more. However, I take full responsibility for your experience, good or bad, with it lol.

@StarPoint I've only played for over an hour but I think I'm already obsessed. The atmosphere is unnerving, the environments and spritework are incredible and the controls actually feel fantastic (I CAN FINALLY SOMEWHAT WALLJUMP!). And don't even get me STARTED on the SA-X, like OH MY GOD (I physically jumped when they blew up the door offscreen after grabbing the Power Bomb 0_0).
About to hop on there again to head into Sector 4, I cannot believe I'm actually enjoying a 2D Metroid π₯Ή

Soul Hackers 2 (PC Game Pass)
Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse (NS)
Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo (NS)
Fire Emblem Engage (NS)
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom (NS)
Stella Glow (3DS)
Also about to start Gravity Rush Remastered on PS4 soon.
It's been a minute since I've had this many games going at once! Although I'm probably almost done with Vampire Survivors, having just beat the final boss.
I played Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario World on Mario Day. Mostly MK8D for me, and I got to play with a couple good friends of mine last night. I did a casual playthrough of SMW from beginning to end, and I got some platinum coins from playing it.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past (3DS) - Still going strong and am nearly 40 hours in as of this writing. I now have vocations under my belt, with each party member just mastering their first one, so I'll need to switch them when I'm done with the current past scenario. The different story vignettes are still entertaining, though very episodic. It makes for some slow pacing at times. At least some of the vocation abilities are useful...with the series's classic puns thrown in sometimes, I might add.
Kirby and the Amazing Mirror (Wii U VC) - Just started this one yesterday. It plays a lot like The Great Cave Offensive in Kirby Super Star. So far I've reclaimed one mirror shard, though I'll admit I seem to be...erm...quite lost at the moment. I'm trying to refrain from using a guide for now. Past that, it's classic Kirby gameplay.
Art Style: PiCTOBiTS (3DS/DSiWare) - I picked this up after seeing it recommended as a hidden DSiWare gem. It's an interesting, unique puzzle game that works like a combination of Tetris and a match 3 game. The player needs to match random colored pixels on the screen with following ones (minimum of 4) and gradually build a pixelized 8-bit Nintendo character on the top screen. There is some difficulty and some penalties involved. This old NL review goes into more detail if anyone is curious. Not sure if it's worth a 9, but the current user score reflects how I currently feel about it.
I just beat Metroid Fusion.
I'll have my thoughts in the 'Games You Recently Beat' thread soon but oh my god: this game was (and is) utterly BRILLIANT.

@TheBigBlue Dude, I got SO addicted: put in 3 and a half hours on the first day and another 4 on the second, I was HOOKED.
And don't worry about getting stuck in certain sectors: just visit every nook and cranny possible and use every ability at your disposal if you start to feel really stuck. That's what worked for me at least (though there's no shame in looking up a guide if you start to feel frustrated!).
