I'm juggling a few games on my Nintendo systems right now.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
This is my primary game right now. I'm still playing through the story and really enjoying my time with it. It's the first entry in the series that really feels like I'm playing the world as portrayed in the anime series. I'm probably about 70% done with the main story and I'm playing it together with my wife, so we're helping each other find things the other missed and especially with trade evolutions. It's been a blast!
Mario Kart World
I'm still playing this off and on. I've found about 60%-ish of the collectibles in Free Roam and working on 3-Stars on all Mirror Mode cups in Grand Prix. Still having a lot of fun with this!
Super Mario Odyssey
This is more of a replay, and I've rolled credits on the game already, just having a great time with the post-game content. I still put this on the same pedestal as Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy. Excellent game.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D
This is a bucket list game for me as it's the last 3D title in The Legend of Zelda series I have yet to play. I just finished the 2nd dungeon and to be honest, I'm not having the best time with this one. It's been a bit of a slog to playthrough. Not to say that its all bad, but the 72 hour reset is starting to get on my nerves and holding the experience back for me personally.
Pokémon Red Version
This is my lunch break game. I play it about 30 minutes a day and maybe a little bit more before bed. I'm playing on the 3DS Virtual Console and have the goal of slowly completing every mainline entry in the Pokémon franchise!
And that's it for Nintendo. My wife and I are also playing through Silent Hill f on PlayStation 5, but I won't get too much into that here. Hope everyone else is having fun out there!
Super Neptunia RPG (from my local library) on my recently purchased PS4. Been having a blast with it so far 😃. Also Dragon Quest XI, the occasional bit of Smash Bros. Ultimate, and I'm thinking of returning to Animal Crossing New Horizons soon.
My top 5 favorite games:
1: Pokémon Violet
2: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
3: Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
4: Animal Crossing New Horizons
5: The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Super Castlevania IV - I'm playing it via Castlevania Anniversary Collection, and I'm also playing it since Halloween is coming up. Love this game, and I've made a lot of good progress in it... even though I did have to use a few save states (not to an extreme measure though). The music and haunting atmosphere are amazing. That chandelier part of one level would have scared the heck out of child me, lol. There's some cheap enemy placement particularly in the later levels, but other than that it's fantastic.
Disney Illusion Island - Not a Halloween game, but I came back to it recently since there's a game trial of that. (I have a physical copy of it, and I was still given the platinum coins upon playing it.) It's a nice, relaxing Metroidvania with a cute and cozy atmosphere, and Mickey and all his friends. I felt like playing as Minnie for a change, and it's a game I want to finish sometime, too, as well as getting as much collectibles as I can. It might be my favorite Disney-themed game on the Switch.

Favorite game: Super Mario 3D World
AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
I’m playing a plethora of games to be honest, but I finally started Absolum this evening and it is awesome. I typically bounce off rougelikes, but this one feels like a pure beat-em-up, and those elements don’t feel so compromising by each new run. I’m really surprised by how good this game feels, too.
Also began playing Absolum recently. On the surface it looks like a typical belt action beat'em up, but it has it's own parry, dodge, counter-attack system. More interesting and less brain dead compared to the Arkham / Assassin's Creed parry system. Production wise, everything is pretty great. Graphics, animation, controls, performance, voice work, etc.
Speaking of voice work, someone is channeling Max von Sydow.
I actually asked myself, "Isn't he gone? This person sounds just like him."
Switch Physical Collection - 1,519 games (as of November 1st, 2025)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 2 games (as of June 9th, 2025)
Bought Dragon Quest I+II HD-2D Remake today. The sun is shining today, truly a blessed day. I am enjoying the continuation of the Erdrick saga. It is as nice and beautiful as the last game.
Tonight played some Modern Combat Blackout on Switch, just a few online matches. Also played Monster Bash on PC almost a week ago since it's one of my favorites to play around Halloween.

Luigi's Mansion - This game recently came out recently on Nintendo Classics during Halloween time, and I'm enjoying it. I finished area 2 already. And oh my goodness, am I getting nostalgic while playing it... I haven't played it in years until that point. And it might sound corny, but I've also been playing it during nighttime and with the light turned off, just for added immersion!
Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Star-Crossed World - I got the upgrade pack for Kirby recently, and this is the first Switch 2 upgrade pack that I got, not counting the Zelda ones on NSO's expansion pack. I didn't make too much progress yet, but from what I've played, it is a solid time for sure. The sparkling effects of the new paths that appear look really nice, too.

Metroid Prime 3 surprised me today. I never thought I'd face a Metroid boss that's essentially plays like the alien game in Despicable Me (slight spoilers of course):
I decided to buy Star Wars Outlaws despite my trepidation with the typical Ubisoft formula, but I am pleasantly surprised. It’s been fun, and the world feels alive. I like how you can come upon quests in various ways; it almost feels like a blend of Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell.
More online games of Modern Combat Blackout on Switch, and tried to play Asphalt. Enjoyed them until the power went out and disconnected me from their online modes. Then I went to my laptop and played Nitro Racers because GOG games don't require Internet.

Apart from the Marvel Vs. Capcom collection and Itadaki Street DS, I decided to go back to Miitopia (Switch version; already played the 3DS version) and defeat the Dark Lord once and for all.
Been playing online races in Asphalt, on both Switch and PC. Also played some Jagged Alliance on PC, and saw an enemy retreat onto a bridge. I ended up defeating the enemy using his own trap he set on the bridge. Had a good laugh when it actually worked.
I wonder why this is one of my favorite strategy games. It feels like the game thought of every scenario when it comes to battling enemies.

Honestly having like a full on Switch Mukbang lately.
ZA has gotten me on a bit of a Pokemon kick, I was thinking about replaying Scarlet and did start that, but then remembered I had Shield on my Switch too, so focusing on that instead. I know this isn't a beloved title, but I LOVE this game and it has been a joy so far.
I owned Xenoblade DE, but had started it a few times a few years back and bounced off of it each time. I put the cartridge away somewhere not really expecting to need it again. However, last year I played Xenoblade 2 and 3, and earlier this year X and so I wanted to try DE again but haven't been able to find it all this time, until I FINALLY found it again the other day, so I have started a playthrough of this again, hoping I can stick with it now I can call myself a Xenoblade fan.
In terms of modern games, I still have the ZA post credits stuff to play, but I have kinda had my fill to be honest. I am playing Age of Imprisonment, and I picked up HWDE as I hear it runs at 60 fps on Switch 2. I did try out Three Hopes demo too as I heard the same, but didn't really vibe with it. It did kick off though my insane Fire Emblem addiction (literally played hundreds of hours of Engage and I don't even like that game that much, the FE loop is just soooo addicting to me) and so I ended up starting like my fifth or sixth playthrough of Three Houses too.
Absolutely stuffing my face here and having the best time.
Halloween's been extended.
Splatterhouse NES(From Namco Museum Archives Vol. 1) & Curse of the Moon 1 are both in the cards for tonight, and tomorrow. And then Haunted Castle Revisted(From the Castlevania Dominus Collection)with No Continues, because my original playthrough was just too frikkin easy thanks to those pesky stage check out points, and feeling like you've got nothing to lose. Destroys the suspense, intensitiy and sense of reward.
It is something like a cross between Hades and Streets of Rage... in the best possible way. A short playthrough as well to beat the 'true final boss', maybe 20-25 runs in total (about 15hrs). Probably another 5hrs to clear all achievements, which I might stick out
Went in completely blind outside of hearing it was good. Love the fully 3D environments and characters. Giving all the Phoenix Wright and 999 feels. Having a blast so far.
I've supp'd for months on naught but broth of bean
