So it seems having an animated series based off of a classic video game franchise has become all the rage again. Pac-Man got an animated series, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. Then there was the announcement of Sonic Boom, set to premiere later this year. And now very recently there was the surprise announcement that Keiji Inafune's huge kickstarter success and Mega Man spiritual successor, Mighty No. 9, will be getting it's own animated series in 2016! So now out of the big 4 most famous video game characters 3 have and animated cartoon series (technically 2 since Mighty No. 9 isn't really Mega man, but it's pretty darn similar and for the sake of this thread let's just roll with it.) Not to mention, all of them have had a cartoon series in the past during the 90's. So how much longer until Mario gets a new cartoon?

Captain N. As a child who grew up loving Nintendo in the late 80s, it was the best thing ever.

..... Am I the only one thinking the Earthbound/Mother series should get a animated series? I would love to watch it in a snap!

No at all and It might be a good way to boost interest in the Earthbound series and get more games... then again if the screw up on something like the depiction of characters or voice acting then fans of the series with probably lump it together will Dragon Ball Evolution...

Capcom at E3: Guys we're sorry about how we've been treating Mega Man so we're gonna make it up to you by releasing the Mega Man Cancelled Collection with all the titles we cancelled in the condition they we're in just before we pulled the plug. Now who wants Street Fighter X Monster Hunter?
