How am I the last person to know about these things?! lol My 3DS is still the old XL model! xD
Anyway, I immediately searched online to buy a brand new one locally from a local owner. It will cost me $1,299 Singapore dollars (about 930 US dollars), but like I said... I NEED IT. It's NEW! And shiny! I need new! lol Plus, it has the Fire Emblem: Fates edition skin, and I plan to jump aboard the FE franchise soon in the future anyway.
I don't know much about DnD, but Warhammer 40k's universe has always intrigued me, especially with how grimdark it is, how nihilistic it is with apathetic gods that could wipe you out on a whim.
Buying an old console like the New 3DS second-hand at 1/3 of the price (meaning used and sold by somebody) or brand new at full price?
@Maxenmus : At the normal retail price? Then brand new of course!
But when it comes to rarer items where a new copy would be substantially more expensive, then I will consider my options. I've bought some rare CDs over the last few years (and even the last few weeks) and I've been fortunate in that most of the used ones were in excellent condition with very little indication of wear and tear (and some of these CDs are 30+ years old).
Pay a fraction of the typical market value for an obscure/rare game/CD, albeit in tatty condition, or pay 10x more than its original retail value for a new and sealed copy?
Porygon did nothing wrong.

@Silly_G It really depends on the CD. If it's not some epic movie/game that's my favorite movie/game of all time in the entire history of cinema/video game... then I would probably not buy it all if it's in tatty condition. I don't buy spoiled products. If the cover art is ruined, but the CD is intact, however, I'd pay the fraction of market value or even the full market value.
Doesn't help that I'm very picky, so it has to be some super nostalgic movie/game that I dearly love for me to pay 10x its value for a sealed copy.
For your question, if I have to choose, I guess I'll go with pay a fraction.
Have your favorite visual novel/novel adapted into anime/movie form but have it produced by some third-rate anime/Hollywood studio in shoddy third-rate quality that diminishes the spirit of the original VN/novel... or have it never adapted at all and therefore fade into obscurity, never to be enjoyed by anyone else other than a handful amount of fans?
We didn't get off track, it was just a long question! I'd rather the novel was never adapted at all. If it's my favourite novel in this scenario, then presumably it's good enough to stand on its own legs without needing an adaptation.
And for Kermit1's question, The Beatles, but I do like the Stones as well.
Joy-Cons or Wii Remote and Nunchuk?
Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music
@Dogorilla I can't believe they actually called it the Nunchuk (literally a double-stick weapon that you swing around; imagine doing that with your Wii Nunchuk).
I'll go with the Joy-Cons. The Nunchuk looks awkward.
@Kermit1
Vacation. 2020 Gave me enough of my house to last me for the next few years.
If you've seen the announcement, Marvel Phase 5 or 6-what excites you more? If not, look up San Diego Comic-Con Marvel Studios Panel on youtube. It's about 4 1/2 minutes long. Don't worry.
