I honestly don't know. The Switch seems to be having a lengthy lifespan and it just got 100 million sales, so it might have a chance...but I'll say DS for now, because it's currently Nintendo's highest-selling system of all time. The DS had quite the long lifespan, even making it to the first couple years of the 3DS being on the market, and its game library truly had something for everyone.

Tanooki. Hammer Bros Suit feels great when it works but it's far too rare for me to be able to fully enjoy it. Tanooki on the other hand is extremely common and feels fantastic all the time. The flight especially is unrivaled.

I love what Digimon does with evolution (reverting to previous levels, branching/combined evolutions) and particularly the original and Tamers seasons of the anime. I’ve also enjoyed my time with Cyber Sleuth which is a touch more mature than Pokémon, but Pokémon wins out overall with respect to the general consistency and breadth of its output.
