Now that the English version is released I hope they can just make it a download or a patch. I honestly don’t come here much and didn’t read the thread before buying. I’ve done this dozens of times with switch titles. Hopefully square will answer my email and can give me a clear answer.

Depends on your playstyle i could be done in i think 4 or 5 hours from here on.
But if you like me and level al your spells and weapons up, it wil take a lot longer

Can't wait to dig back into the official Seiken Densetsu 3.
Not sure to go with remake or collection as it is so...expensive.

@DenDen I've only naturally upgraded magic and skills. If I end up having trouble with a boss I'll go back and grind either with combat or magic to boost up my leveling. Just finished fighting the dopplegangers or " shadows" of yourselves. At this rate it's looking like the game is coming close to an end. Think I'm onto the tree palace after this.

@NintendoByNature
Yes you are very close to the end indeed,
Depending how well you do in the final palace you should be able to finish the game in two - four hours.

@DenDen i played the mana fortress for a good 3.5-4 hours yesterday and I could not defeat dark lich. Mainly because i ran out of magic. I used two full rounds of magic on him since it doesn't look like you can hit with regular combat(I got lucky and was able to hit him 1 time but never again). I was either using gnome magic or salamando as those two seen to do the most damage. I'm level 7 on gnome and 6 on Salamando. I have to use magic on the other bosses in the palace so I'm left with only 1 walnut by the time I hit dark lich.. is there something I could be doing differently? I must've played him a Good 15 to 20 times and it got pretty frustrating. Let me know when you can please.

@NintendoByNature

You can beat him with regular combat, aim for his head,
Dark light is weak against lumina
Cast light on your weapons,
Use luna magic to boost your attack on the boy, let the sprite drain his magic, and use shade to depower his defences.
Key is use walnut only on the lady sprite can use luna to drain magic, make sure all spels are 7+
Your at least lv 50 then you should be fine

I started Final Fantasy Adventure on the Switch tonight, definitely a product of it's time. Not quite sure of where to go or what to do but I did enjoy the hour I played of it. Will sink some more time into it the next few days.

I have been thinking of checking out the Trials of Mana remake now that I understand why there is no multiplayer and never will be. I was wondering though how does the game run in handheld mode? Is there noticible graphic problems, slow downs etc? Not quite sure if I do get it if I would want it on PS4 or Switch.

Hm, didn't realize we had a Mana fan thread. I haven't played any of the games in the series before, but I did pick up Collection of Mana a little while back since I've heard it's the best place to start the series. I need a shorter Switch game until The Wonderful 101 Remastered arrives in a couple of weeks, so I've decided to start Final Fantasy Adventure this weekend. Anything non-spoilery I need to know before jumping in?

@Tyranexx I loved it! It was like playing links awakening, so I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Break walls, and stuff lol. Try to remember that in the dungeons. And I had to use a guide for most of the game, especially the 2nd half. Its pretty easy to get turned around. Other than that, you'll enjoy it thoroughly.

@NintendoByNature Thanks! Tbh I was hoping you'd chime in since I recalled that you played FFA not too long ago. XD It does sound a lot like Link's Awakening. Like most Zelda games, you can break all the things!

I was debating about using a guide. On one hand I know the game isn't too lengthy, but I know from previous experience with games made in that time period that there is a TON of trial & error and that getting lost is easy....XD

Yeah, it's not very difficult, it's just remembering things like mattocks & making sure to keep some ready for odd occasions .... Let us know how it goes!

@Tyranexx yea the dungeons aren't hard and I'll think you'll feel right at home. More than anything, getting there can be hard imo. As I recall, the last or 2nd to last dungeon is so hidden, I couldn't see anyone finding it on their own, although im sure people have. It involves a tree, is all im saying, and there are TONS of trees.
