Topic: The Game Awards 2020

Presumably we're getting One Winged Angel considering it's the only song in the trailer. But.. yeah. Wasn't expecting this. Not one of my top picks if we had to get a second FF character, but still nice.

I watched this for one reason and one reason only: the Among Us map.

Funnily, I took a supper break and hoped the Among Us wouldn’t happen while I was gone. The first thing that happened when I came back was the Among Us. Haha!

Well, not a bad showing. Nothing amazing, but new Among Us, Sephiroth, new Ghosts n Goblins were nice. A few interesting indies too (Open Roads and It Takes Two). Oh and the Swedish Chef getting a uh... game? Expansion? DLC? IDEK. Disco Elysium getting a bunch of new free content. Not much else that we didn't already know about of course.

Oh and new Perfect Dark, Mass Effect and Dragon Age could be interesting but it was vague CGI trailer so... yeah who cares. Probably 5+ years away each. Kinda feel bad for anyone watching for PS5/XBSX stuff, there wasn't much of interest.

I'm excited for the Monster Hunter Rise demo, Super Smash Bros Ultimate DLC, the Capcom Arcade Collection, Back 4 Blood, Among Us New Map, Perfect Dark and Scarlet Nexus.

I think the problem is that half of the interesting games didn't go on long enough to be interesting.

Like the refusal to show anything from Bioware's new games. Or that one really impressive looking PS5 game, cool art style, but they only showed the character walking forward for a few seconds for gameplay. Exciting?

@Guest88 OH YA THEY HATED LAST OF US I did boo it has well, they felt like it was rigged.

They took a looong long time showing off that one weird hyper realistic game that ran at like 12fps.

And that one game with the uncanny valley Vin Diesel.

I had a decent time watching it. Was looking for a little more on the nintendo front but hopefully we get something from them in the next few weeks thats sizeable like a direct.

Lol I fell asleep while waiting for it, and woke up like 30 mins after it finished. Looks like my body made a good decision. I'm looking through these announcements and I don't think a single one particularly interests me.

Perfect Dark is cool I guess. Although with Microsoft buying Bethesda, and therefore now owning Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake, Rage and Fallout, I'm not really sure if they needed another FPS? Oh well.

Today was pretty crazy, with regards to announcements. First, the Disney Investor Day (which had a TON of announcements, which was expected though), and then The Game Awards. 🤔😆😆
EDIT: Also, the main thing I'm hyped about from TGA is Sephiroth.
