Got my last purchase in for the 3ds eshop. I have most of the games I want now, although I did have to cancel my Tears of the Kingdom pre-order. I’m like 40 cents short, but I have enough money in gold points to cover that and taxes, so I will just pre order it within a week of release.

@1UP_MARIO Absolutely... red will always be my favorite color because of Mario. I still have my Mario Wii Remote, and it's the one that I like using the best for Wii games! I have a Peach Wii Remote, too.

AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@ComfyAko As I said to Ella, I'm broke so none. My youngest sister (13) got Assassination Classroom Vol. 1 and I did spare £5 for MGSV from Cex, another one of my sisters got Yu Yu Hakusho and my brother got some HP Lovecraft, so pretty varied.

Surprisingly, the price range was around Rp 200,000 - 300,000 or around US$ 13 - 19, according from Tokopedia.
Well, it still a fake machine anyway. 😆
@Sunsy The only reason I made the Killer Instinct vs. Mortal Kombat comparison was due to the somewhat similar graphic styles used and the fact that they're fighting games. What's also interesting is that Midway, the dev for the original MK, also published Killer Instinct for Rare back in the day.
Eateries around here used to have their fair share of arcade games too, but most have moved over to cranes, digital jukeboxes (for music), and those cheap candy or gacha machines. Simply for the fact that those make more money and encourage replays for either "one more go", "this is good too", or collector's mentality reasons.
@MarioLover92 It's crazy the stuff I can remember vs. the stuff I can't lol. I wish I'd been exposed to The Legend of Zelda back in the day too, but I don't think I was even aware the series existed until I saw TV ads for The Minish Cap. Kid me wasn't interested then though since it wasn't multimedia (I was a HUGE target of those types of campaigns) and nobody talked about it. I love the Shadow Temple in OoT, not the least because it contains my favorite boss in the game. It's very easy to get lost or stuck in it though. On Okami: It's thanks to that game that I became more interested in Shinto and Japanese mythology in general. There are some pretty great stories buried in Japan's history.
@Eagly Understandable. I tend to run cold so don't usually sweat in bed unless I ate a big meal very late (very rare) or if it's insanely hot out. I usually don't have issues going to bed and falling asleep; it's staying asleep that's sometimes my issue.
I'm probably set on games for...at least two years in terms of time lol. The Wii was a family unit and stayed at my parents' place when I moved out. Agreed that Xenoblade is more popular than ever and XCX is a good port candidate...though not an easy one. I won't spoil XCX, but the ending certainly did leave room for a sequel. I just hope the Switch's eventual successor is backwards compatible.
Yep, I wasn't sure how literally XC3's ending should be taken either. Hard to say mock more until we get more info on the DLC....If there is anything else before launch that is. It is possible the two XC3 stories were written concurrently/planned out together. XC2 and Torna... That's a tougher call. I could see those also being planned out together or the latter being written/expanded on after the fact.
