It’s a construction business. It’s kinda on its last leg anyway. ( not because it is failing, my grandpa is about to retire and my dad wants to move to something else) it looks like everything is going to work out though.

@MarioLover92 Owls are beautiful animals; as mentioned earlier in the thread, I like birds of prey in general. Some four legged animals trump them in my book though. XD I'm not sure what causes the crashing; you'd think a bad download, but most of my retail games are physical. My copy of MK8D is one of the exceptions, but so far no issues.
@blindsquarel Do not panic. It's possibly a bluff trying to get your family to pay money. It was right to get the police involved in case there are actual compromised files (If this were a crypto attack...woof). However, if it's just the email, do not respond. 1. That lets them know the email address is actively used, 2. You'd possibly open yourself to more harassment or spam by responding, and 3. Never pay something like that. As mentioned, the exact reason Bitcoin is requested is due to how untraceable it is. The only problem with stuff like this is that the attacker(s) can be from about anywhere on the planet, and IP spoofing is very easy to do.
@Eagly I thought Squirrel Girl was getting a show. I'd like to see Squirrel Girl an OP there's so much to do with her and she doesn't always need to be ultra powerful all the time just write her so she likes helping people with smaller things and doesn't always want to help The Avengers.
Squirrel Girl is a perfect cameo character because she can be anywhere any time.

Thankfully everything looks to be fine. We were able to get him locked out of the accounts ( apparently he tried to get into my dads gmail after he was locked out of his other account.) and there wasn’t really any info on there that could do much for them. After reading the ransom note I kinda calmed down a little. It sounded like some guy just trying to see if he could find someone who would just pay him.

Good morning. You ever get the best ideas when you're trying to go to sleep? Cause that happened to me. Basically, I'm a game developer, and recently my classmates suggested we make an anime together (I'm in charge of character design and script) and although I haven't published any of my games yet, I sort of wanted my own studio. And I thought about the anime I'm making and went "Hang on a second, how about a studio where we can do this and my games?". I'm about to suggest the idea to my classmate, Dezi, who started this whole anime idea. I wanna call it Fried Egg Studios because why not.

So I've decided that I'm gonna start selling cakes. I'm a very good baker, and Christmas is coming up and I need the money. Currently making a list of things I need. Only hard part of doing this is I'm allergic to something that's in everything, so I gotta be more careful when I'm shopping. I can't just grab the generic food coloring and checkout. I have to look at all the ingredients very carefully. But other than that, I love baking.
