Autism is honestly wired. There are so many effects of it. People call it a spectrum but I’ve always seen it as more like a lake full of symptoms. 2 autistic people can be completely different the classic stereotype is smart but bad at socual skills but there are alot more. An autistic person could also be below average at school and great at making freinds. Or an Autistic person could be completely non verbal. It could just be as simple as not liking loud noises. So many people are classified as Autistic for so many reasons. I want to be 100% I’m not saying the doctors are wrong just that everyone has different experiences with Autism and just because you know someone with it or you yourself are autistic doesn’t mean you will be able to apply your experiences to a different person
It actually is a spectrum. My brother has high-functioning autism and he's not great at talking to people, but he's really smart and he has a lot of talent. But if someone is to yell at him, he doesn't know how to respond or waht to do. I sort of have the same problem. I'm also really sensitive to some sounds, like church bells. I once stood on the sidewalk for 10 minutes covering my ears and crying because the church bells just kept being hit and I couldn't take it. I also have problems talking to people, and I have fight or flight responses when I shouldn't (Like if you're to tap my shoulder, I might automatically hit you. I don't try to, my body does it on its own.)

@Eagly Yup, that's the one! I remember seeing it once when I was in school, and seeing it again the other day. I still remember the twist on the bad guy, lol.
@Tyranexx That's understandable. Also, hopefully that hasn't been too hard. The only animal I can remember getting into the house was a raccoon. Going back years ago, a raccoon broke into the house. What a night, we had to get animal control to get it out of our house. Meanwhile, I was safe in my room with my door closed, unable to sleep because of it, I was playing a game on my laptop at the time.
@blindsquarel Basically me today, I wait all year for Christmas music. Usually it's outdoor decorations and shopping I do early (in event of snowstorm in December, not safe traveling in it).
@EllaTheKawaiiNeko People with autism are normal people, they just have a different way of "seeing" the world.
Being someone with autism, this. I've had autism since I was a kid, but never really spoke about it since the subject was never brought up (I possibly did drop a hint because I mentioned special needs high school in the past). Honestly, always been afraid to since I've seen "autistic" thrown around as an insult online.
But if someone is to yell at him, he doesn't know how to respond or waht to do.
This is also me. I haven't spoken much about my autism (aside from dropping the hint I went to a special needs high school), can say when this happens, it's frustrating and sometimes causes a meltdown. Autism meltdowns are not fun to deal with, especially when others see it like a tantrum, though it's always something else that bothers me. Worse when you're with someone who doesn't know how to handle it or stop it and makes it worse.
People have told me I'm smart, so that's always a good thing.
@Sunsy Thank you, Princess Daisy, I now have a Mario character living with me lol.
I picked here over Twitter, thanks to people like you. (even though one day I will start a facebook account for family reasons, I shouldn't dread it, but I can't help it)
I have a personal Instagram account, that's about it. I stopped going to Twitter because people kept making things (sorry for saying the word here) political and people just being nasty in general.
I like chatting here, I can talk games, cartoons, be myself, and you guys seem to put up with my Trolls shenanigans, lol. Seriously, thanks for not being mean to me over stuff I like, because other sites, probably would be.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Sunsy I like Trolls though I don't normally say anything... I've listened to Can't Stop The Feeling more times than I care to admit thanks to the radio.
@Kermit1
Actually I have a cat too.
I think she is around 7 - 8 month old.
My sibling found a kitten from his shop building.
The cat is Tabby according from its fur pattern.
We don't give her name but we usually called her Puss.
It drives me crazy how early some stores set out Christmas stuff. I'm almost used to US Thanksgiving getting steamrolled by this point, but it drives me crazy when that stuff shows up BEFORE Halloween ends. And this is coming from someone who likes Christmas. But let the other holidays have their turn, no? Charlie Brown was right, Christmas is way too commercial.
@Sunsy The only other unauthorized non-pets (We had barn cats, but they'd often freak out indoors after sneaking in out of curiosity) that got into the house were mice. Maybe a bird once, but that was temporary. I grew up in a log cabin in a small wooded area, which is way less glamorous than it sounds lol. My parents own a small farm.
@Kermit1 Congratulations on the new kitty! I wouldn't mind a photo or two, but only if you want. I'd love a pet, but I'm not home enough to properly care for a dog, don't wanna deal with tanks or terrariums, and I'm also not crazy about a fully indoor cat. Outdoors is out of the question since I live near a busy road.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
I have heard the song “ all I want for Christmas” more times in the last hour than I have wanted to in my whole life.
Anyway, i have to do a review of a movie for English this term. I never thought the day would come when I could pass of watching The Dark Knight as homework.
Currently playing: Pokemon Soul Silver, Mario RPG

@Eel I just saw that they added you as one of the NSO profile icons for this month! How about that.
