Five year anniversary of Mario Odyssey is here and I wanted to say that the game is... meh. It's clear there's lots of love put into it but when half the power moons are just in the ground waiting for you to ground pound the right spot... it screams of time constraints and laziness.

Crazy that both SMO and Breath of the Wild got a 97 on metacritic too. Feels like BotW earned it way more than SMO.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Those who know know (the Chicken Tai food word puzzle thing). Also you can go on the Nintendo Switch eshop and find games with that word that are rated T, truly odd.

That is odd. I wanna say it's just the Japanese word for pervert, but if it has an ESRB rating and not a CERO rating, I can't use that as an excuse.

That looks cool! I have a 3ds, actually. Got it when I was around 8 or so. And I was disappointed when I figured out Miiverse wasn't a thing anymore. And I don't mind pirating, I pirate anime and such all the time, and I pirated Tomodachi life when I was around 10 (Don't worry, I wound up buying the actual game on the eshop)

@Kermit1 You're welcome! I need to quit putting off loading Pokemon Home on my 3DS and transferring up some of my Pokemon before March. I'll need to double check on game compatibility though. I might just transfer legendary and event 'Mon for the most part.

Edit: Oof, apparently I need to reinstall Pokemon Bank for Home connectivity. This'll be "fun"....

I love potatoes, especially sweet potatoes. Most types of potatoes are very versatile and can be used in different ways. In fact, I might steam some mini potatoes with my supper later.

The only thing stopping me from hacking my 3ds is the fact that I don’t want to brick it. And also I think it is useless if your 3ds is on the latest firmware.

@blindsquarel The latest update does not make it useless.

Also homebrew/hacking for 3DS has come so far that it's pretty mech impossible to brick your system. In fact if you do brick it everything can be recovered because of how far Homebrew has come.

I worded that last part wrong. From what I saw in the past, the latest update on the 3ds doesn’t allow homebrew to be installed. Maybe I saw old stuff though, I will have to look into it. It would be nice have it though. I would just need to find out how to get the rom’s.
