Oooohhh how exciting! We found a snake in the backyard! It's been years since we last saw one.

This one seems to be a Coachwhip, which makes sense for the area.

It seems to enjoy basking in the roof of our palapa, which is where we noticed it first, and then we watched it move up the branch of a nearby tree, where it seems to reside, or perhaps it's just a hunting spot.

It's long and it seems like a very healthy adult, so chances are it's been living with us for a while now! Long life to you, big noodly friend.

@Anti-Matter nope, not venomous.

As long as you don't bother them, the coachwhip will just chill or run away.

If you threaten them though, then they'll supposedly whip you with their tails (though that might be a myth).... Or, most likely, bite you.... Which will be painful, but not particularly dangerous.

@Anti-Matter All Atlus games in Canada are REALLY pricey right now, I'd say get them while you can.

I've heard a lot of good things about those games so I think you might enjoy them.

Do you keep a dream journal? I've been writing down my dreams in the same dream journal for several years now. It's interesting to re read some of the stuff I saw in dreams from previous years. I sometimes illustrate the dreams in the journal as well. Just curious~ ✌️ Not sure how many other people do dream journal's~ 🤷‍♀️

@MarioLover92 Yep, I need to travel to see most fireworks since my home doesn't offer the best viewing; it's surrounded by trees in some directions, and there are other homes and a business in others. I definitely heard plenty of them though lol.

"Overboard" is one way to put it. Some get pretty toxic. I have yet to play Undertale, but I've heard parts of that fanbase can be pretty crazy. With my interests, I'd say the Pokemon fanbase gets pretty tenacious online at times. With Mario....I'd say that holds true for the Paper Mario bunch.

@Anti-Matter I haven't played either game, but I've heard that The Legend of Legacy is fairly mediocre. I did look into getting it on 3DS but decided to ignore it. Conversely, I've heard some positive things about The Alliance Alive but also decided to skip it on 3DS...mainly because it's easily accessible on Switch if I decide to get it.

@Barbiegurl777 I really should to be honest because there are some really bizarre ones I have from time to time. There was one where I was in the middle of a field and everyone I knew was a sheep except me, one where I was kicked down the stairs by the Joker and, probably the most unexplainable one of them all, one where there was a shopping competition organised by the Coco Pops mascots which they rigged so that I would never win and I cried at the end (seriously, how do you even begin to comprehend something like that). There's been other weird ones as well but those are the ones I vividly remember. There was even one very recently where I got an idea for a Legends Arceus styled Pokemon game set in Alola called Pokemon Legends Kaoki (don't ask me what Kaoki is, it's what my dream said it was called). If I forget to make an actual journal for these things, I'll probably just write them up here.

I once had a dream where I was in a giant room filled with super deep pools as far as the eye could see (I can't swim so this was kinda scary), I was laying on the ground right next to a really deep pool, then I fell in and the world went dark and I heard a loud voice say OOGGHHH (that's what it sounded like) then I woke up irl. Most of the dreams I remember are slightly scary.

None of them will top the ones with this nightmare, where holes were everywhere and if I fell off my bed he'd drag me under into a really long tunnel system then into a cave.

I think I'm going to keep an open mind when I go to buy a PS Vita and SD card.

@Eel I'm starting to have second thoughts about the Vita looking at prices of memory cards on ebay. I know it will be a few month until I get it but... dem prices tho

I have changed my mind about those two games (The Legend of Legacy & The Alliance Alive) as I heard the gameplay was like Final Fantasy II NES in term of parameter progression (the more you use same skill, the stronger of those skills you get) from some review on YouTube I watched recently.
Too bad, the character design looked quite cute in Chibi form in my opinion but the convoluted gameplay was made me nervous.

OSTENT might be a life saver when I buy a PS Vita, from everything I've read their official Vita memory cards but on the product photo they removed the logo (for reasons).

AND FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING GOOD PLS DONT SELL OUT "insert store here" PLSSS

@Kermit1 yup I’ve been stuck with the 8gb memory card I’ve had since forever, because anything bigger is far too expensive.

It’s honestly the worst aspect about the console, sony really did it dirty with the proprietary memory cards.

@Eel It feels like your getting kicked in the leg while eating the best blueberries in the world.

Now that I'm saving for a new system I hope I don't go back to my Nintendo Switch state of mind which is "it has to be Red Box Switch with at least 4 games with it all at the same time".

Started playing Xenoblade Chronicles X this morning. First impressions are mixed - the music's great, of course, and the combat is fun, but the text is so tiny it's hard to tell what's going on, and the game is oddly reluctant to explain how to play it. Reading the manual helped a bit, but I don't think I'd really understand the combat if I hadn't already played the first game - though I'm not very far in at all, so hopefully it will start telling me more soon. But it was all worth it to hear my Cockney-accented character (who hadn't said a word before this point) yell 'The early bird smashes the worm!' as soon as I started the first battle. Classic Xenoblade.

@Tyranexx Yeah, I at least heard all of them around my area, lol. I went to the front porch to see if I could see more, but there's this massive tree nearby, blocking the view. I could barely see those firework sparks!

Oh man, I didn't play too much of Undertale, but I heard how insane its fanbase can get. I've gotten a taste of how toxic the Pokemon fanbase can get, too...IIRC, when the Let's Go games came out, people were saying something along the lines of "Gen 8 or riot," then when they announced that there's not gonna be a national dex for Sword and Shield, people were really upset. Paper Mario's fanbase can get nuts as well...from what I've seen, they're crazy passionate about the older games. The Sonic fanbase has been similar in that regard, even down to the original character designs...I still remember some people throwing a tantrum about Sonic having green eyes when Sonic 4 got officially announced. Granted, I didn't like the game when it came out, but I assure you, it's not because of that. lol

Okay, I have finished Paw Patrol Adventure City Calls PS4 and gosh.... It was one of the worst kids games I have ever played. 😑
The character design looked hideous, the loading time before starting the mission was as abysmal as LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER, the gameplay style was like copy paste from the second game Mighty Pups, the mission list didn't feel correlate with the actual movie, there was no Congratulations for finish the game.
The game was really damn easy, really damn tedious and it put me asleep during playing.
I'm glad I have finished the game but still it was a bad game. I gave it 4 / 10 for really lack of contents and having abysmal performance. I thought Paw Patrol On the Roll by different developer felt better with stable 60 FPS and better character design.

@MarioLover92 Yeah, IIRC, some machines will let you do a time trial race on one of the tracks for your play session in some Sega racing games. I think you had to hold down a specific button on the unit in order to trigger it.

Thanks, really looking forward to tomorrow. Trolls World Tour was one meant for the theaters, but got pushed to home because of obvious reasons in 2020. It makes me nervous as this decision was made in the 11th hour, right before the movie came out. So hopefully, it will be fun on the big screen since two local theaters is doing it as a summer thing.

@Anti-Matter To answer your question, I really can't say if a game is good or not if I never played it. I need to play it or know something about it before I form an opinion. Sorry, if I don't have an answer on those two games.

Sorry to hear you didn't like that Paw Patrol game. It varies with licensed games. Some will take inspiration from the source material well (Smurfs Mission Vileaf or MLP: A Maretime Bay Adventure), while others won't and might simply cash in on something that's popular. I play both kinds so my mileage with licensed games varies on how I like a series or something.

@TheJGG Definitely, the music will sound great on the speakers. Also, it should be an experience too, not just watching Trolls World Tour, but also the theater itself. It's a really local theater not tied to a chain (no AMC and Regal), the indoor theater looks like an older theater, complete with the movie names above the door, non-stadium seating, and they even have their own drive-in. So visiting it should also be fun.

One of the scariest dreams I had was when I was five many years ago now but I'm sitting on this chair with silver metal chains around me tied to the chair & I hear a chainsaw. I turned to see it was a scary clown looking at me menacingly while laughing & having teeth in his mouth that look pointed like a dagger. In the dream it was pitch black with only a light bulb hanging from the ceiling for the light source in the dream. The other dream I had I was also 5 when I had this dream as well but I'm sitting in the McDonald's playroom back when they used to have the carousel in the dream I'm sitting back there in the booth / table eating a four piece chicken nuggets & a small fries. After I'm done eating the box magically fills back up with chicken nuggets & the bag of fries fills up right in front of me. At first in the dream I'm thinking this is pretty cool but then the more I thought about it in the dream. I'm like this has to be a dream lol~ I woke up chewing on my Special Blessing Christina (Krissy was her nickname) Prayer doll's foot in my mouth thinking when I woke up I was chewing on a chicken nugget in the dream~ 🤣 All that dream did was make me hungry for actual McDonald's food that day~ 🤣 I only just recently in my adult years started doing a dream journal but both of those 2 dreams in particular I had a few times back then is only reason I remember them~ 🤣
