@Ghostchip I sent you a request. Anyway I have enjoyed pretty much every FE title since the GBA days except Echoes. But I think that my issue with Echoes was mostly that it came out on 3DS after Switch was out and I have found it hard to go back and play 3DS post Switch.

My favorites have been GBA Fire Emblem (Lyn is still in my top 3 characters), Awakening and 3 Houses.
I really love the series in all its forms, from the dating Sims to the unfair RNG, lol.

@Heavyarms55 totally would not change anything about the series (except release times because that killed some of the best in the franchise) if you like these games play persona it's great and I literally despise anime yet it's so good I put up with the cringe!

@Ghostchip Persona has been in my backlog for a while. But if you dislike anime, then there's an area we couldn't be more different. I've always got about 5 or 6 currently airing anime that I follow, and plenty of older series that I want to revisit or that I missed.

But yeah, part of why Persona has remained in my backlog is because I'd still rather play it on Switch. If it never happens, I have PS4, but going back to PS4 just feels like a downgrade compared to Switch or my PC.

As for release times with FE, don't get me started. When FE Awakening came out, I had preordered it weeks in advance only for Amazon to email me on launch day and say they were sold out and it would be about a month before they had more. So I cancelled the order and downloaded it. It was the first time I downloaded a game that I technically could have had a physical copy of without region locking issues. I was so pissed. I almost never preorder games anymore and that kind of BS is a big part of while. I don't think it should be legal to do that. If you've got 1000 preorder stock to sell, stop taking preorders once they are all accounted for!

@Heavyarms55 yeah I don't know why I dislike anime something about it disagrees with me (except pokemon I've been watching it since I was little and I still watch when I'm eating cereal lol) although for good games I get over it. Persona 5 royal will literally blow you away I am playing persona 3 portable and I love it and many call that one of the worst ones but it's still great heard so many good things about 5. just got 4 on my vita but no ps4 . This game is one of the best games ever I guarantee you will absolutely adore it if our tastes are remotely similar (I hate anime yet this is so good I ignore it!) I got xc2 when my cousin said it was good I liked the story but by God the cringe was so incredibly bad. The only reason I held through with it was story and combat were amazing. Xc1 is not even cringy and just as good story and combat wise I'm halfway through its it's great.

@Ghostchip Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and 2 are my all time favorite games in that order. You're entitled to your own opinions of course, but we're not on the same page their either.

But yeah, I'll get around to playing the Persona games, eventually. They've been on my list for years now.

@Heavyarms55 I flip flop between favorite games and you're not off your rocker xc1 and 2 were also my favorite in that order a while (still haven't finished 1 yet though taking my time to enjoy it but I already knew it was one of my favorites) until literally today lol I played galaxy and that all changed because it'd been so long since I played galaxy that I wrote it off as nostalgia but no best game ever after playing it for only 10 minutes this morning on switch. What are your favorite Mario's?

@Ghostchip It's hard to pick a favorite Mario title. If I have to pick just one, probably 64. But I really enjoy most of them. I'll be going back to 3D All Stars in a little while.

@Heavyarms55 dude I'm hundred preventing all three if it kills me but I'm most excited about sunshine haven't played it in soooooo long.
One of my favorite series is pikmin will you be getting 3 deluxe?

@Ghostchip Don't know about my dude yarms, but I will. Pikmin 3 is one of my favorite games ever. Don't care if it's full price, a great game deserves good treatment.

@Ghostchip I like the Pikmin series, so I do want 3DX. But idk if I'll be getting it right away.

@Heavyarms55 yeah pikmin is the game I play that makes me feel better about life with the nature noises and gameplay that puts me in a calm trance. Any games like that for you?

@Ghostchip That would be Animal Crossing for me. Super chill, can just do whatever I want.

@Heavyarms55 for whatever reason animal crossing doesn't have that effect on me love it anyway lol. Man I'm galaxy feels magical right now totally worth the 60 alone
