@ReaderRagfish@HobbitGamer In all fairness, Samus never killed Ridley more than once. He survived every encounter, until Super Metroid. IIRC they confirmed it's the same Ridley in all the games. She defeated him on Zebes in Super Metroid, and blew up the planet along with his remains, Mother Brain and the last of the Metroids. So in her best knowledge, Ridley was finally gone for good. Seeing Ridley return in Other M marks the first time she saw him return ''from the dead''. Of course, the implication that Ridley is back could also mean the return of the Metroids and Mother Brain, since all of them were, presumably, destroyed back on Zebes. So I guess you could say that perhaps the shock was exaggerated by the possible implications from his return.
Either way, it didn't really bother me. And I liked the VA too.
I didn't trust that little gremlin the first time i saw it. What does that say about those other cute creatures you rescue in Super?
Grabbed the new Labo: Cardboard Dumpster Toy Kit! The associate offered me a warranty for $3... When I pointed out that it's cardboard, he said "Yeah, and if it breaks or gets wet, we'll replace this whole thing!" I just blinked a few times and said "I'm quite sure the cardboard doesn't qualify for replacement".

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
Other M just popped us into the head of a character we were never in before. That can be jarring and ill-received when you've had that character a certain way in your own mind for decades.
If Nintendo suddenly gave Link a fleshed out personality, gave him speaking parts, let us hear his inner monologues, that wouldn't be well received in any way either. I'd wager it'd go over worse than Other M, no matter how they made him. Some of the characters are better like that. Not Nintendo, but Gordon Freeman is another. I never want to hear him speak or hear his inner thoughts. Those games are more immersive because of it and you are Gordon.
This legit reminds me of a Dorkly skit involving Gordon Freeman and a video game agent. It's pretty funny but NSFW.
I intentionally don't know much about Metroid: Other M plot-wise, but should I take it as canon? I've played most of the other games up to this point (barring Hunters, FF, and Samus Returns) and know how they are chronologically, more or less.
@HobbitGamer: Thanks for the heads up! No energy drops is kind of a weird concept, but I've grown to expect some of the bosses to be quite difficult. You're going to have fun in Echoes....
It’s immediately after Super. And some time before Fusion.
So immediate that it begins with the end of Super. Although the main story itself takes place some time after the intro.
Fusion is chronologically the last game in the series.
If you don’t feel like playing it yourself, you can actually find “movie” versions of it on YouTube. Apparently the game comes with the option to see all the cutscenes and key gameplay moments like it is some sort of movie.
MySims (Wii)
I made a Dance Dance Revolution Arcade machine on MySims Wii. It made from combination of Big TV (Monitor), Cupboard (Machine) and Statue (Dancing stage).
Gold's Gym Cardio Workout (Wii)
These are the reasons i bought that game. I can have a Shirtless boxer, a Shirtless gym instructor Alex, a Muscular gym instructor Bob.
If Fit Boxing for Nintendo Switch have some Hunkilicious dudes + able to be shirtless for boys (as player and as trainer), that will be an Instant Paradise for me.
828pm, just finished the pedal. Played the slot racing for a minute, because that’s all it needs. Pretty fun, and nice that there was something to provide a building break. I’m gonna eat some chili then get back at it!

Geez, the front page is practically drowning in Switch announcements. 99% of them are ports, mind you, but this still reminds me how much better a position Nintendo is now than with the Wii U. It really is remarkable!
@CanisWolfred I agree, it’s refreshing to see so many things on the horizon (and soon or now for some). I was one of those folks that jumped from Wii to 360 and skipped the entire WiiU (until after buying my Switch this year), so I’m enjoying the ports even though some folks don’t. Some of the same folks on here talk about how rough the WiiU era was that people didn’t buy it, but in the same breath complain about WiiU ports coming to the vastly more popular Switch along with still new offerings.

Meanwhile on the front page, i'm seeing random text in different colors. I would say dat this would be a revved up conspiracy NL is doing, however, it's happening on other websites also, even discord, lol.
Also @Yosheel i'll take 20 of those pictures and hang them on my wal-I MEAN TOAST!
I made Sheldon & Mr. Randoms back on Flipnote Hatena, now i'm a kangaroo mod that has a funko pop collection!
I'm not keen politics since that stuff is spooky, I'd rather watch SpongeBob over Fox News anyways!
I don't understand the complaints about the ports. I still really enjoy my Wii U, but I also understand that the Switch has way more visibility, portability, and versatility when compared to the U. There's definitely an audience for all of these ports considering how many people never grabbed Nintendo's last home console.
To be honest, I'm fine with them porting games that I've played already; I'm starting to make some headway with my backlog. It takes quite a bit to make me double-dip.
"Nintendo, how dare you re-release a game I bought in 2012 for full price at K-Mart on the Wii U in 2019 with extra content to boot, dat is it i'm boycotting the Switch!"

Whew! Just finished the key and steering wheel. So. Much. Creasing.
Good thing I don’t have to sew anything or use small tools to repair stuff this weekend.
Addendum; 4 1/2 hours later, I’m ready to call it an evening the pets will probably wake me early, so then I’ll get to work on the “engine” and all its magic stickers. Can’t wait to play the game proper!
