I'm taking Pre-calc at the moment. As much as I hate math (And school in general) I've never really struggled with it, and it has proved extremely useful for programming. For example, after learning about sines and cosines, I've thought of a lot of useful ways they could be used in games, or a pinball physics engine.
Also, I think I've finally found en effective method of getting myself up in the morning! First, I set up like, a bajillion alarms on my phone to make sure it won't stop on its own. Then, I put it in my pinball machine, and the put they key to the coin door in my fireproof safe. Then, I put the safe downstairs on one side of the house, and the key on the other side. By the time I retrieve all the stuff and turn off the alarm, I'm awake enough so that I can think straight and have lost any interest to sleep in! Now I just need to figure out how to keep myself from waisting all my time on my iPod I stead of doing my school work. (Being homeschooled has been a blessing and a curse for me...)
It does seem to have some inspiration from games I've played. Whenever I hum an "original" tune to myself, my brain decides to work on where the inspiration comes from. My own logic saddens my creativity
