I can't believe the LA show is almost sold out already! I just went on The Wiltern's site and there was only a couple of rows of seats left in the very back.

The SF show seems to still have plenty of seats, I talked to my friend about it and even though SF is four hours from where he lives, he's still willing to go (and he claims the city is more fun than LA anyway lol). I'm hesitant to pull the trigger though because they may move to a bigger venue in LA. I'm so proud of them but also scared for my seat! lol

A different problem has also presented itself, I could be starting a new job in May and this trip will fall right on the border of that 90 day "probationary" period so I'm not entirely sure if they'll let me have the days off I need. Ironically, I'm counting on this job to help fund the trip so I'm just in a flurry of mixed emotions right now. ^^;;

@LoveSugoi: Hey! I guess we should probably use this thread instead of bombing comment sections huh? They really need a private messaging feature on this site. Aww that sucks about the seating. Any floor standing areas? (I haven't looked at the LA show, sorry)

Hmm, I've not heard of them changing venues so honestly if I were in your shoes I'd go for a guaranteed seat. Plus think of the songs you can play on repeat during the drive! Honestly I wish I knew someone that was going. I hate to fly so it is a 10 hour drive to NYC for me. Sadly my mother tends to be my road buddy because none of my friends are single (and all of them have small kids) so road trips tend to be out of the question for them. I love traveling with my mom (as we are very close) but she doesn't understand why I love Perfume so much (although she is a fan of the lyrics when I translate them for her so perhaps I can turn her?).

I just bought my ticket for the NYC show on Sunday and I got second row for the seated section. I learned my lesson the last time I went. Not going to lie I may still buy a floor ticket for the Saturday show ...since I'm going to be in town anyway.. lol!

I am in the reverse situation of you. I recently quit my jobs (was working 3 and realized my life was going nowhere fast) so while I have a part time job and some savings I don't have a major source of income right now. And I'm about to go back to school. Still going to this concert though. I don't know what type of job you are starting but usually corporate jobs will give you some leeway if you let them know that you were scheduled to be off before you got the job. Talk to your boss/HR. The worse they can say is no. (and then you can just get "sick" that weekend...) Before the job change situation, I was going to go to the LA show (I hated my jobs but I made good money) but I think I'll just visit my buddy later. She is about to have her second child anyway and I don't do kids for long stretches of time.

Just saw a commercial for the new Luigi's Mansion arcade game at Dave & Busters. Looks really fun; definitely have to try it! It also advertised the Mario Kart arcade game, too, but that's been available for a while. Glad to see an Nintendo ad!

Happy Easter y'all, it's the birthday of the (sometimes) mutant humaniod rabbit that lays "chocolate" eggs for all to eat!, we have been truly blessed!

Easter just makes me think of what those evangelicals think the chocolate eggs actually are. Ahh..... anyway, I do like those Butterfingers bar eggs. Crispy!

Are there any other South Africans here? Kinda feels like alone in the country with my 3DS, despite picking up like A StreetPass once a month.

Can someone help me please? My 3DS SD card one day just decided to be write protected. I tried flipping the switch on the side, but didn't work. Now I cant access my SD card data. I looked up about every single way of doing it! If you have any suggestions or ideas PLEASE tell me!

@Boyd: Does the SD Card work in any other device? If no, then I'm guessing the switch is broken. You can try doing the following, but AT YOUR OWN RISK; try removing the switch itself and insert it back again. Note how the switch looks like and figure out which end goes into the SD Card and which end requires you to push up or down. See if it works now.
If yes to the question above, then you might want to try a bunch of other SD Cards. If they don't work, then your 3DS SD Card slot is probably shot... If they do work, it seems the 3DS has a certain problem with the faulty SD Card. You can also try to see whether removing the switch and putting it back works.

Also, it is write protected in my computer too. So does that mean the switch broke?

EDIT: I just put my SD card in my brother's 3DS XL and it isn't write protected! I don't know what this means, but...

EDIT 2: It did say it couldn't create enough space on the 3DS SD, so maybe it needs more space?

@Boyd: At your own risk would probably mean, in case you damage the card itself, or for some reason flash the memory blank and lose everything.
It's weird it says it's locked but also it says there's not enough space, but it sounds like it's saying it's not being allowed to access the SD card but is reading it as "no memory" because it's protected. Seems like it may be damaged somehow. I'm not sure how you'd fix it, but as long as the memory isn't deleted on the actual SD card there may be a way out there to access the data or at least trick it into being unlocked.

@GrahamZA: Do you live in a big city? I use to live just outside a big city (Not in SA) but I'd never get passes, but then I moved into the city again, and often will I get passes. Oddly enough, South Africa is the only country in Africa besides Egypt and someone who set theirs to Madagascar that I've streetpassed. A couple times too! They're out there!

Off topic to those responses;
I wonder who's posts got deleted? I thought I knew but they're still there actually. It happened all over the place too. This thread especially seems like I'm obsessed with breadt because that's the second page I topped with saying I love it.

If I did wipe the whole SD card data and get a new one, what would be deleted? My Nintendo Id, Friends, Eshop money, anything else?

@Boyd: Make sure before you do anything you put the SD card into a computer and copy everything to make a backup! That way, if you damage the card you can just paste the backup onto a new one.

@Boyd: If it's write protected on more than one device, it's most likely the switch (the SD Card lock). Now if you want to remove the switch and put it back, you have to remember that the switch is VERY small and if you lose it, that could mean never, ever accessing the content in the SD Card again. So you have to be very careful when pulling out the switch. There's also the possibility that the casing of the card might be damaged but since I really don't think there's a big possibility that might happen. Worst case scenario, the casing might just slip off a little and you can fasten it back. Now obviously, this is why I said do this at your own risk.
What message came up on your brother's 3DS when you popped in the SD Card? Isn't it going to overwrite everything? :/

It would basically be like having a fresh start on your 3DS, it probably would delete everything except a few system settings and anything else saved on the actual system itself. Some of those settings may reset anyway or be reset by choices you make when setting it up. That'd be a bad idea to do if you wanted to keep any purchases you've made as those will go away.

Well, I think i'll hold up on trying to fix it. If I need to do anything with my games or anything, i'll use my brother's. Thanks for the help though!

Deleting the contents of the card will only delete the local data (save files, digital games, etc). It won't delete your ID, eshop data, My Nintendo, miiverse account, etc.

It would be no different from inserting a fresh new SD card in your 3DS.

Still, those poor digital games. If you can back up your sd card and copy all the contents to a new one, then it should work fine. With some tweaking.
