No offense, but you didn't make 10,000 posts in the span of about 2 years. Plus he's one of the nicest users we've had (not that I've seen you cause problems, just sayin').

This I agree with. In fact, I've noticed a lot of threads locked for erroneous reasons, and even ones that should be locked being redirected to the wrong threads (i.e. eShop recommendations being redirected to the General 3DS thread, multiple console questions redirected to a single console section, single console and format questions redirected to the Universal Recommendations Thread), and inconsistancies as far as how old a thread can be before its locked, and which one takes precedence. I was planning to write up a contact email to the staff later where I can include examples and direct references, but for now I'll just say that the mods here are generally new, and I think it would do them some good to study how TBD and Lz have been doing it for years by skimming through some locked threads, at least until they have think they have a better feel as far as thread-locking goes. If they already do that, then I suggest they do it even more.

Tbd makes special guest appearances every once in a while but we got 2 from NA and 2 from EU a while back as well. Too much traffic for just LZ to police it all for the most part by himself.

yeah I remember last year LZ and TBD were already kinda overloaded with all the new users that didn't read the rules and those spam bots too.

Well, I try to limit my locks and redirects to the most obvious cases.

With "lulz let's be random because I'm bored" treads like yesterdays... I don't think they're fit for this thread either, but since it was Canis I redirected him instead of just plainly locking them.

I think a moderator dicussion about would be a good idea, because, back in day, the staff would create random threads for fun, and threads like this would become part of NLife history. Here's a collection of such threads. Threads nominated to the hall of fame.

My replacement Gamepad just came in the mail, pretty glad because I was afraid it wouldn't arrive in time for the Splatfest. If you're wondering what happened to my previous one, let's just say I was very klutzy 8 months ago...

Kinda forgot because of E3, what's this Splatfest again? lol

You pick a team and then during the Splatfest you do Turf wars to help support your team. You can earn some prizes (I dunno what) by raising your rank and you'll get a Super Sea Snail if the team you're supporting wins at the end.

Also it's probably the only time you get to see the multiplayer stages in their night time setting.

Oh, I've been losing constantly for various reasons recently...bleh. Guess I'll join anyway, haven't been on any games much due to E3.

It seems like during my break from Netflix, a bunch of quirky Japanese movies I was planning on watching were removed Oh well, there's still other stuff I can watch.

I'm now in a depressing situation.

At this point, my parents are making it harder for me to get my game stuff because my dad now has a grudge that I have to reason out with him on what I want even with my hard earned salary so my only option is to ask my bro to get Nintendo stuff for me except that I don't know whether he'll do it or not.

I guess this may be the time where I have to stop supporting Nintendo which is a sad thing for me because if it weren't for Nintendo, I'd have no reason to live at all. I'm probably gonna be stuck with PC games more than console gaming in my life forever. The worst part is, I don't even know if I can settle in USA seeing as how my VISA got rejected twice.

man, that's what online purchases are for, no one can see your bank account balance unless you show them XD

Hey, @GuSolarFlare. It's been a while, glad to hear from you.

God, I almost had a heart attack. I missed the deadline for submitting my health record for the college enrolment process and thought I was going to give up one of the best universities in the country.

Thankfully they let us pass the records late. Now all I have to do is remember my school account password..

(also, it's summer vacation for me, so it's kinda weird seeing students everywhere when I visit the offices.)
