Star Wars is from an American man. That is the best thing America has done. I know a few months ago it was officially the highest grossing IP of everything ever. I don't know if it is still that way.

I would just like to ask that no one else creates any thread around one particular country for the time being as if too many appear, there's a very good chance that they'll be deleted or locked.
Than could we change the name of the thread to The North American Thread?
I don't get it. If every other country calls soccer "football", then why do they call football "American football." They should call it "soccer." It's a perfectly good, unused word for a sport.
And in forums that contain American readers, why must people start threads that say "The Football (Soccer) Thread." Everyone knows what Soccer is, but Football is globally ambiguous. Why not just call it soccer in multi-national forums?

It's soccer in Australia too, because we have four different football codes - Union, League, AFL and Soccer. Calling them all "football" would get really #))#*& confusing.

Ask RWP, he created the thread
No, Cheetah's thread was for southern America, not South America. I don't see a point in splitting them up like that. This is for all of the U.S.
