I do love my RPG's. I do like some MMORPG's but I can only like an MMORPG if the community is friendly. No point in playing an amazing game with a bunch of snobby players.
I love MMORPG's but one thing i realized is that they get really boring once you reach a certain point. for example in MapleStory i've never gotten past level 50, i just always create a new character. The one i am currelty playing is Vindictus, which combat wise is more of a action but the rest of it is rpg. Its really fun, lvl 38 right now, no signs of getting old... (fingers crossed)

I play guild wars for my mmo fix and for rpg's I I play final fantasy ( which by the way the person who voice acts lady palutena also apparently voiced lightning), chrono trigger and I'm not sure what monster hunter goes into but I play that too.
I love JRPGs but I don't like MMORPGS or RPGs that are similar to MMORPGS like Monster hunter as they just feel like a load of sidequests and I prefer to play RPGs where you don't play as your own character as I like the characters in the RPGs I play to at least have some depth to them and the story focused aspect is one of the reasons I play RPGs and that aspect is lacking in MMOs.
When it comes to me and MMORPGs (and MMOs alone), I'm like Bobby on crack. So far though, I can only play the relatively free ones online. To name a few: Club Penguin, Runescape, Wizard 101, X-Blaster (surprisingly fast and totally online - free too), Disney Toontown and Arcanists on FunOrb. They're not that big as some would say, but they're fun. Even the "kiddish" ones.
When I get a new PC though, I'd like to join Steam and also dabble in buying a few retail titles as well as simultaneously signing my life away. Yes, World of Warcraft will be one.
