EDIT: Also nominate old school, 80's Voltron (Japanese version was MUCH darker than edited American import... at least we still got to see Princess Allura's rear spanked by Nanny ).

Just so you know, I'll be listing at the two seperate shows it originally was, Beast King Go Lion and Armored Fleet Dairugger XV, with (Voltron Part 1/2) next to them. Voltron itself actually counts as an American TV show, since they completely rewrote the script.

Just put my votes down for what Retro said.

Anyways, do Movies that are continuations or additions to the series count? I think that the should just be included in the show itself.

If not, One Piece:Strong World

I will not list them as part of the series. Just list them individually and they'll be counted individually. You have a better chance of getting something you like in if you cover more ground.

Also, MickeyMac, I'm curios on what the rules are for still ongoing series. While I personally don't want to nominate a currently airing anime, it would be nice to get the record straight for everyone else.

That's up to you. If you want to nominate an ongoing series, that's fine.

well i pick,rune soilder,claymore,gurren laggan,and dragon ball
if its alright to pick all of these

There's still 2 more days of nominating to go, and I may extend it through the Weekend, since some people only pop in on weekends, unless everyone just wants to get to voting. And you can nominate as many as you want, so feel free to go all out. I just nominated 90, and I'm not quite done yet.

could I please nominate Honey and Clover, Eden of the East, Welcome to the NHK and Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad? I don't think they're as well known, but they're all great and it'd be more fun to put some variety into the tournament.

always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

@Mickeymac
Thank you. I totally forgot Voltron went by different names in Japan. Anime isn't really my forte, but there have still been some I've watched over the years.

And thank you for inadvertantly reminding me of Macron-1 (I'll only list the part I liked, GoShogun), which puts me at 100 Nominations.

Are you you counting movies that are canon entries of series (such as Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door, FMA: Conqueror of Shamballa and the Eden of the East movies) as part of the series or as separate nominations?

Those are seperate, too. Again, cover all your bases. If you like the movies, too, then make sure to include them. That way if the series fall, you'll always have a back up.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa
Eden of the East: King of Eden

And I already listed the Haruhi movie, so I think I've got everything now. I'll probably come back with more, though.

Reborn!!! Why does no one else watch this? The only media I love more are my two favourite games ever - Tales of Symphonia and Tales of the Abyss.
My other nominations are:
The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
The melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumoyiya
Naruto
Hetalia: Axis powers
Tales of Symphonia: the animation (I overrated in the past and its not as good as the game its based on but its still a great anime).

You have to admit, that episode count is intimidating.

What I wanna know is why nobody watches Gundam when so many anime fans supposedly care about good stories. <_<

No matter how long it takes, the 203 episodes have to be worth it, its just such an amazing anime. I've seen episodes 1-102 by the way. It takes a while to get going but when it does, it is excellent and so far, after that point, all the non-filler arcs have remained of a very high quality and even though the anime has finished, the manga is actually still going. As for Gundam, I'm just not into giant robot anime but there are two exceptions that I like the look of which I plan on watching which are Tenga toppen gurren lagan and Code geass. Also, I like the look of Sakura wars: So long, my love even though its a giant robot SRPG.
