BUT you shouldn't underestimate your skill, just practice and practice and ... practice! Also have a clear vision on what you want to achieve.
For example, I really want to draw like Jacek Yerka but that will probably never happen, however if I look at his paintings and try to study them in details, I might be able to produce something similar ONE day in like 50 years
And it is important for your work to be appreciated, that way you know you are in the right direction

1. The sketchbook is small: A6 format so I do not have to draw big pieces.
2. It is tanned so by default it has a nice background color.
3. Quick sketch with a pen, black liner on top and then run the whole page with eraser to get rid of the pen.
4. Pick a limited color palette and just blend some colors on top.
5. Add highlights with a jellyroll pencil and a pastel pen.
@Zuljaras Nice work. I used to play lot of HoMM 2-4 back in the day. It was one of my favorite series. I got 5 as well but it didn't run well on my PC so that was when I fell out of the loop.
