I am starting a new art project for 2024, a sketchbook!

I will draw things in it with Fine liners, Copic markers and various pens and pencils.

The sketchbook is A6 (pretty small) with carboard toned 250 gsm paper.

I am still looking to get more markers with different shades.

I have finished my first page of the sketchbook.

Oh that’s cool! Nice choice with the toned paper and wonderful artwork as always. I wish I had the patience to commit to filling up a sketch book, good luck with it!

@Eel Thank you! Well that is the good think about a sketchbook, you draw in it as much as you want as often as you want

It is not like the Inktober challenge where you have to draw every day on word prompts

@Zuljaras I’m the type of person that feels like they would ruin a nice sketchbook by drawing something ugly, so the result is is I don’t use them 💀

@Eel I thought I was the only person who didn't wanna use a sketchbook cause I would ruin it by using its intended purpose

Inspired by the "Steamboat Willie in public domain" trend, I drew my persona in 1920s cartoon style.

For page 3 I decided to draw a gargoyle standing in heavy rain

For page 4 of the sketchbook, I decided to draw a volcano spewing lava

As I am playing Castlevania Circle of the Moon right now I decided to draw a Brain Float for page 6

I drew Mei, the main character of my favorite Pixar movie “Turning Red”, which also sparked my interest in Asian culture.

For page 7 I decided to draw Death on his pale horse
