@thesignpainter I started to listen. Good stuff so far! But, I chickened out a little while in when she started singing about Rainbow Dash! Going to try again when I'm feeling braver, LOL! Now if there were stuff about Gilda, I'd be all over that! Griffin cupcakes, anypony? @lzbirdboy If they're interested in making REAL $ off it, they'd at least partially make it with bronies in mind. After all, the average teen/young male is a gamer, and that's maybe the show's biggest audience. Just look at the mass numbers of fan fics, art, game mods... everything under the sun created by a legion of fans growing by the day. I would hope that they would have some of the show's creators (esp the mighty Faust herself) as consultants, to help the maker strike that wonderful balance the show has of being for everypony! You mentioned THQ as one of the undesirable companies. You won't be happy to hear, then, that the three MLP games that have been made were by THQ. The last one was in 2008, called MLP Pinkie Pie's Party. And, of course, that's old school Pinkie Pie. The current one isn't your mother's Pinkie Pie. But, being 3 years ago and based on a totally different MLP, I'm not sure if the franchise is still with THQ. @TwilightV A Hasbro-themed Super Smash Bros. game sounded fine, until I thought of one thing. The size of the ponies compared to Transformers. Even as giant versions, they wouldn't be nearly big enough to logically compete. Not sure if even Twilight's magic would be enough to present a challenge. And I couldn't stand the sight of Megatron stepping on one of my ponies!!! As for prefered developers, I'd love to see it in Konami or Capcom's hands (even though I'm not crazy about either right now). The best licensed game I've ever played was Konami's Batman Returns for SNES. And look what Capcom has done with Disney properties over the years. Mickey, Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers, Tailspin, Darkwing Duck... If either company had the MLP franchise, I'd be like this... [youtube:NKWpGJ4Xhw8]
@FlutterShyguy: That's why size adjustments are made. Captain Olimar is realistically the size of a quarter, yet in Brawl he was the size of most other characters.
Also, Optimus was already in a crossover game (Dream Mix TV). I recall one large Transformer was part of a stage. The thought of a stage or bossfight with Unicron or somebody is... awesome. D8
Whoah. Just finished all 26 episodes of season 1 in one day. I woke up 'round 3:20 as being torn in 2 by the need to watch it and the realization that there was no going back after the first episode. But I have to say that I made the right choice, the show defiantly kept my attention throughout. I can't describe the true joy I experienced while watching this show. It was.... just.. "An Experience."
Now I just need to find something to occupy myself until season 2, assuming that it IS coming.
