Well, it was early last year when was looking around the Know Your Meme site and I read up on all the pony memes. I never knew that My Little Pony made a comeback. I questioned why the show was so popular and eventually shook it off as just internet shenanigans.

There was one day I woke up pretty early (it was a holiday) and I saw the show on the TV guide (the usual 8am weekday schedule). Sat down with some cereal, as open-minded as I could be and watched the episode "Suited For Success".

After an hour of ponies, I realized that I couldn't stop thinking about ponies. I considered myself insane,

So I labelled myself as a "fan of the show" and not a brony, because I deemed it as a dumb fad and wanted to maintain a level of sanity.

I eventually found Reddit and their own My Little Pony section. I read many stories of how the show's morals were inspiring the bronies to be better people and I realized that maybe it wasn't so bad being a brony.

My friend was the one who wanted me to watch more episodes, and after much deliberation, he welcomed me into the herd. I was a full-blown brony - I had my own favorable "best pony" (Rarity, ever since I first watched the show), I kept up to date with memes ("20% cooler in 10 seconds flat", "love and tolerance") and I pretty much defended the show whenever I could (arguing why Ms. Faust's past experience made this a great show and so forth).

And that's how I became a brony!

If you look back at the beginning of the thread, you can see my transition from nay-sayer to brony.

I'm sure something dirty can be insinuated, but I see it more as just genuine delight, lol.

I don't see the picture at all. It just says "Look who's popular!" and explains that the views are taking up too much bandwidth and to update your photobucket to pro.
