But yeah, I haven't read the gist of this thread. I've read everything since late December when I started stalking and later joined in, but most of the stuff here I haven't read.

@SquiggleTail - You had to make it green again? I'm going to be sick. But yes buckets appear to be canon at least when somepony joins. Yup, over 2000, I remember you got the 1000th. Also where are the brownies, on second thought, don't say.

@Destroyer64 - If you got time, there was some interesting stuff posted sometime ago, back when FluttershyGuy commented regularly and the second season was still coming. Also it shows who hasn't been here in sometime and may have stopped watching. Oh,

It's rare I get a complement for a something that's not academic in nature

The post that started it all... Wow, I can't believe we're already 100 pages in. When I started posting here, it was barely on page 19.

If SOPA-PIPA passes, I can completely see the Internet being reduced to simply a business/advertising tool, devoid of entertainment except by certain sites (run by the people who are pushing for this) you'd have to pay out the flank for. Nothing like the Internet I came to in 1999, the discovery of which for me was like Filly Fluttershy discovering the land below Cloudsdale. I can see going online only for the sake of tasks, like online bill paying and Emails. Pony-related material, possibly gone. Things like You Tube game walkthroughs, possibly gone. I have no concept of where it would end. Even my online classes I take could be affected. Though it's not considered a "scholarly website" and students are discouraged from using it in most classes, I go to wikipedia for information. Some of these sites could go under, from what I understand. With the entertainment industry's new-found power, I'd be afraid to personally post much material on the Internet.

Whether it passes or not, after it's over, I'm going to get the voting records on the bill. Whether or not they're a member of my registered political party, I will post everywhere I can the names of those who voted for it. I will name them as enemies of free speech, and friends of the lobbyists and entertainment execs who line their pockets (and care little about any kind of freedom of expression). Of course, maybe that's the next step, that we can no longer criticize our "gods" in Washington, or their masters on Wall Street and in Hollywood. Well, I'll drop it and go to the other thread with anything further. Sorry to rant. I am worried about this and see this as a testing grounds for personal rights. SUPPORT FREEDOM & PONIES!!!

@FluttershyGuy - I'd hate to see it pass too, it's sneaky because it let's them control more then just your internet, it effects mine to and more then just damage to sites they get a grip on most the web, I'd be very upset with that. Yeah, the population is sky-rocketing around here now. When does SOPA go through, I need to treat this as the last few days, weeks, whatever it happens to be of this, if it goes through, I'll make one of the last posts my email, so everypony can keep in touch with me, 3DS or not.

Anyways, i finally bought a piece of Pony merch this weekend, a nice simple Fluttershy (ya know, the one that comes with Angel and a little wagon). At least, i assume i bought it. It was on my shelf Sunday night following a drunken excursion to Wal Mart, so i must have gotten it somehow!

Well, i do have a hazy memory of standing in a line forever, and i also now have a big thing of Gatorade and a dvd of Scream 4, and i did have a crumpled up slip of a receipt, so i don't think i committed any crimes. I just can neither concretely confirm via my own memory that it happened.

That's what happens to a Shpydar that spends an entire day doing little more than drinking and watching football playoffs — he spends money like water! Also purchased elsewhere (this is all within the span of an hour or two, depending on how long i was in line at WalMart): like a million tacos, a big bag of potato chips, the new Darth Plagueis novel, The Nerdist Way book by Chris Hardwick, COD2 as a Games on Demand purchase on XBL (even though a used copy of the game would have probably cost half as much) and, perhaps most bizarrely, a roll of paper towels for some reason.
