Catgirls are beautiful creatures that need to be respected and loved, especially by human males. Do everyone a favor and keep kitty girls alive.
Just report him and move on (the poster between @GuardianKing and I on this page, if he hasn't been dealt with already). This kind of attitude is not looked highly upon. They have a right to their opinions, but such opinions are supposed to be kept to one's self. We maintain a clean thread here, keeping all MLP-related posts in this one section. We don't spread our "friendship" onto other threads, so it's only common courtesy that people against MLP don't spread their hate here.
Anyways.....looking forward to the next episode tomorrow (unless it's been leaked).
There's a difference between expressing your opinion and stirring up trouble with a comment. If you don't like MLP, don't post here. And for everyone else, just report it and let us handle it!
OK so I've started watching the new episode... I missed the beginning, so I'll have to go back and watch that.
And, I have to say, I'm slightly concerned about the power I've seen from the commercials that they've given Fluttershy, but... I'll see how it goes, haha!
OK so I finished watching the new comic book episode (though I still haven't seen the beginning), but here's my thoughts (I'll add more once I watch the whole thing, haha):
Well, it was everything I'd hoped it would be, yay!
And Fluttershy's power wasn't so bad at all. It's definitely my new favorite, by far. I had a lot of fun watching this one!
The villain was a little... out there, but she did seem fitting, haha. Of course, the villains and their motivations are usually pretty out there in this show, so it's understandable.
All in all, great episode, but... I still need to watch the beginning.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
@Jmaster49 Only I get the hassle the ponies, get off my turf! >:[
You tell him!.....wait...wha?
Onto my thoughts on the latest episode.
A rather fun episode, albeit not the best this season imo. As much as we needed an explanation for each of the pony's powers, that seemed to take a decent chunk out of the entire episode, but what can you do? I did like how they each didn't automatically know how to use their powers, but had to learn how to use them. The setting is pulled straight out of a Batman comic, with the villain basically the Joker in pony form, falling into a vat, going crazy, and plans to make the entire city as crazy as she is. Out of all of them, Pinkie Pie stood out because it seemed the writers took a page from the fans, and made "Pinkazoid" a reality, but somewhat different for legal reasons. A criticism about her though. For someone who moves so fast, I would have expected her to be a hard target with the spray can. I don't expect to see another episode like this for a bit
Now a bit of reflection...
After watching this episode, I began to reflect back on Daring Don't. This is because both seemed to have a setting that involved books with heroes and villains in unique locations. My criticism with that episode revolved around how Daring Do wasn't just a book in a story, but was a real pony, and that her adventures were real, creating conflicts around the entirety of Equestria. After watching this last episode, I wondered if the writers weren't originally planning a similar stance with Daring Don't, but then opted to change it because it would make the two seem too similar. I mean, it felt so out-of-place because something that had no indication of being part of Equestria all of a sudden was, which his why I wonder if they had to change it midway and didn't have enough time to refine it.
The villain actually made me instantly think of this character rather than the Joker:
(Just in case you didn't know that's Medusa, one of the Inhumans originally from the Fantastic Four comics; she was originally introduced as one of the members of the "Frightful Four"... but that's rather off-topic) She has basically the same power as the Mane-iac, "hair power" as I like to call it, lol.
Walking into yet another train car without Luna. Twilight unaware of her follower peaks into a set of seats looking for Luna, seeing no pony in them she looks back down the isle she caught sight of Discord's tail and Rarity. "Ugh now he's talking to himself as Rarity, he just can't accept I can't be tricked." Looking into another set of seats and blushing as she saw a couple kissing. By the time she turned her head to look back towards Discord and "Rarity", Luna had already been returned to being Luna. "There she is, I guess I must have passed her or got the direction she went wrong. Though maybe she just stepped outside and flew to the back? Well I guess that isn't important but I must ask her if she found any washrooms because I never saw one." Twilight continued down the train car towards Luna and Discord at a light trot.

OK so here is today's update of my MLP x The Hobbit fanfiction! I've messed around with the beginning some more; hopefully it sounds better now! Hope you guys like it so far; let me know what you think!
Had and still having a busy weekend, but not bad; I'm in the middle of a table top RPG while I post this . I did see the new episode though, It was actually pretty funny, I liked It. The villain got me laughing far too much. I think it was clever, not a perfect plot but a nice comedy. I definitely need to watch it several times.
FOTW
Today on the ==Fic of The Week==, back to my favorite ponies, but with a quite interesting an original story: Chess by KitsuneRisu
[On Fimfiction Slice-of-Life Complete Everyone]
Chess it's just a game, isn't it? Well, when it comes to Princess Celestia and Twilight Sparkle, it is much more than just moving pieces around on a board. It's a game of the mind, of thoughts, of conquest. In a game like this, sometimes your greatest opponent is yourself.
Why are Celestia and Twilight playing? What are they feeling? Are they bluffing? Playing mind tricks on each other? Onto the minds of the ponies we go, to figure it all out.
In this very clever piece, the author recreates the psyche of my two favorite ponies with great attention to detail. I believe it was smart to use a game of chess as a setting for this story, so much can go through the mind of someone making a move on that game, and the pressure of the other player thoughts can be felt even if nopony speaks. Brilliant.
Great writing.
And... this was fitting and nice:
@Aqueous Oh RPing again, cool, I'll prepare a post, just give me a couple of days.
@TwilightCrow As a side not, since you mentioned something about table-top RPGs: are you at all familiar/good with Dungeons and Dragons? If so, do you know if the in-game rules allow you to teleport a solid object into another (as an example, my friend teleporting his sword into a person's chest)? Also, can you actually build a rail gun if you find the pieces?
@GuardianKing My dungeon master said that that is not allowed, unless a certain spall specifies it, otherwise your example counts as an attack, and dice are thrown normally. I'm not sure what edition of D&D is the rail gun from but my master does not know about that.
@Aqueous I bet you will love that Fic, give it a go, it is short and sweet.
@TwilightCrow See, my friend's philosophy is this: if the book doesn't say you can't do it, then you can do it. Also, railguns aren't an official items; he's just really good with every kind of physics, from the normal kind to quantum physics. He asked me if there was bleach in a closet he was hiding in once; next thing you know, the whole bandit camp exploded in a fiery blaze of doom.
