Wow... after two years, somebody finally changed the thread name.... Honestly, it was fine the way it was.
I mean, it's not like the name of the thread even mattered; it could've been called "Relatively Small Equine One May Own: Acquaintances are Magical" and it wouldn't have really changed anything.

@Bronies: I typically don't mind if people like the show or not. If you really don't like it, and I'd like them to give it another shot if they don't mind, I guess I can't change someone's mind. And if someone does ask if I am a brony, I simply reply with yes, simply because I don't watch the show much but the fandom and (as I'm finding out) the comics are rather good.
Oh, and thank gosh the topic title was changed. I don't know why it took so long for it to change, but there you go.

@DoodleJohn Glad you're liking the comic series. In my opinion, it keeps getting better from her on though.
And as for the Brony label, I don't typically use it on myself, but I have to admit that It's pretty much an easy way for other people to find you who have a similar taste. Also, even though I got an avatar, and even my username refers to it, I'm not thinking of it 24/7. I just like it more then most other things at the moment.

Whoa there! Although the Bronies have a lot of bad, we have an equal, and perhaps greater, amount of good (charities, donations, our overall attitude, etc.)

The King and Queen of Equestria have returned, and they want revenge on the daughters that betrayed them and took their realm from their tyrant hooves. The only hope, The Elements of Harmony, the King knew that, and Twilight Sparkle is now possessed by an evil being called Nihilus, and is trapped inside her own mind.
Princess Celestia sacrifices everything to make the first move in this ancient and deadly game, and now Princess Luna will have to gather the rest of the Elements and free their trapped leader in an impossible crusade against the mightiest god.
It started to be written on October, 2011 and was finished on January, 2013, so it's mostly based on season one, though later Discrord was given a role and Luna was adapted to match her appearance in season two.
This colossus of a story was one of the first pieces of Fanfiction with war as its center theme, it even was originally called "Ponies Make War".
This story centers completely on violence, the ponies are challenged physically and psychologically with every chapter. The battles are outstanding and epic, and show badassery without pair. This fic also presents a very interesting and dark take on the Princesses (specially a very "human" Celestia, that starts being a badass chess master but ends up learning a lesson on humility) and their parents.
The writing is average and is easy to find mistakes here and there, but the central plot is so well developed you let that slide. In the end though, it kinda forgets some scattered side plots that become plot holes by the time you are done.
Anyway, is still a great reading, if you like action and you are not afraid of a little blood.
