Both are utterly meaningless in the end, yes? So I choose the one that's more fun.
But that could be either one.........AGH ENOUGH MINDSCREW MY ANSWER IS REAL LIFE. Virtual anything is made up entirely of numbers and math sucks sometimes.....
I'm pretty sure I think I'm funnier than I really am. 10 Years of Kingdom Hearts 3DS Friend Code: 0301-9785-9580 [url=http://www.youtube.com/user/NeoStormGaming]Watch me and my friends play games! Now with better visual qualit...
Well, as has been pointed out, playing games is a function of life. But, putting it as playing games vs. other aspects/activities in life, it's games all the way. And it'll vary from person to person, but for me other day-to-day pieces of life are boring, predictable, tedious and stressful. Think that's pretty much everyone, because let's face it, there just isn't a lot of variation in day-to-day living. Work, come home, go to sleep. Work, come home, go to sleep. Games equal fun, so naturally that's my choice given the option of what to do.
Interesting discussion considering I recently read an article, I believe at IGN, about virtual reality (becoming conscious in a virtual world al a The Matrix) is the future of gaming! And I don't remember the comparison the writer made, but something to the effect of saving the world in a virtual environment vs. selling shoes in the real one. Would be an escape from this life that many would probably not want to leave, especially as dreary as some people's lives can be. Until they didn't pay the bill on the service and a company employee came to yank the cord out of the back of their head!
Real Life FTW! Virtual Reality is only as good as the people who control it. Seriously, if I had to chose between my shed (Inventing/ Work space and sanctuary) and video games, my shed would almost always come out on top.
