Topic: Kirby: Right Back at Ya!

What do you all think about Kirby right back at ya?
I personally think it’s a pretty good show. Which makes a bit sad that there is not only a full box set of all the episodes but that nintendo copyrighted all the English dub episodes. (Yes I mainly watch the dub)
Heck they should bring some of the monsters from the show to the games.
Ranging from bosses. (Wolfwrath that exercise guy from that one episode)
To playable characters (serica) to NPCS. (Tiff and tuff, the cappys escargoon)

The Kirby anime is what got me into subbed anime, funnily enough. Which I realize is a weird show to get into subtitles with, but I was on the popular Kirby forum where those were being done back in the day so...yeah.

It was a good show for what it was, even if I got bored of it before I got half way through it. There's not much anime I've seen that are like it, like if I didn't know better I'd almost assume it was a cartoon with vaguely anime influence at points. But its different in a way that wouldn't ever make me want to watch 100 episodes of it.

The dub was not awful, but it had enough issues and eye-rolling changes (especially with the audio) that I was glad I watched more of the original version than the dub. But regardless, I've not seen this series in more than a decade.

Never really watched it, but from the clips I have seen, Sub is better.

I liked it when I watched it on the Wii as a kid. I've never really got into the Kirby games that much but I'm still quite fond of the characters thanks to this show.

Although we can all agree that wolfwrath is a better name for a monster then chillidog right?
