I haven't actually seen anything with her in it, but I know that she is apparently a phenomenal actress. Most recently, she has been in Last Night in Soho and The Northman. Plus, she has even been nominated for and won various awards.
With that being said, do you think she is the right choice? She certainly looks the part, but that isn't gonna help her much, since this is an animated movie. So, can she act the part?
There’s already a Mario movie thread, you don’t need to keep making a new thread for every thought you have about the movie.
If you're actually concerned about if she can act well enough for the 3 year old audience of the Mario film then try The Queen's Gambit, The Witch or Emma and imagine she's shouting banana and making stupid noises like the rest of the Illumination films.
Lol, it's a Mario film. These characters have all the depth of a puddle.
Really, it's because of how thin they are (in terms of characterization) that you're biggest issue should be how the writers end up writing them, rather than if these actors (including Pratt) can fit the role.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
I mean she was a main character in the QUEEN'S Gambit, I'd half expect her to know how to act like royalty.
Currently MIA for exams; see you all in a bit! o7
