Apparently Professor Layton has a Twitter, and today he posted some updates about being invited to the..."Grand Smash Brothers Tournament"

Could it be that he was invited to a new Super Smash Bros. game?

He goes on in a later post, saying...."This is nothing like what I expected! I was told to FIGHT a blue robot boy, a possessed doll, and a tiny boxer! I'm leaving at once!"

(O.O) BLUE ROBOT BOY!?!? Mega Man perhaps?

Layton would lay waste to those unruly brutes in gentlemanly combat! I'd pay to see that though...

or he could confuse his enemies with PUZZLING POWER-UPS!!!

I have never played a Professor Layton game. But,if a new Super Smash Bros. game is released for the Nintendo DS,sign me up!

Well, the big wig behind smash bros, Sakurai, is currently working on a project nintendo related that is NOT smash bros. so if they are working on a smash bros. game it definitely can't be a console one.

Layton's a brainy, he'd never be on a fighting game.
Maybe he'll be an Assist Trophie and he confuses and stuns your opponents so you can attack them?! XD
