Usually there's a cue for when a game goes from taking an unusually long time to load to being frozen. I wait patiently until I notice the cue, and then I restart.
Skyrim froze on me yesterday
It sucks, it can be frustrating if you haven't saved recently.
Skyrim is the biggest infractor. Thank goodness for auto saves, though!

I feel pretty upset. I'm not rolling in money, so when I finally invest in a console, I expect it to last me a while. Freezing worries me greatly because I'm afraid the console might give out on me.
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite
I barely remember it happening on a Nintendo console til I got the Wii U.
I remember loads of crashed on PS2, PS3 and 360 but still not as many as my Wii U has done.
Sonic Racing - unplayable through amount of hard crashes
FIFA - took 3 system updates before it stopped crashing regularly
AC3 - occasional hard crash
CoD - crashed my Wii U once
internet - crashed a few times

when it happens(always in my PC) I get mad almost break my PC, calm down before I can harm it, punch the wall instead of breaking it and reboot it.

You've been lucky it seems, I got loads of crashes on the Wii mostly due to bad programming by specific devs.
Every time, and I mean every time, I would play Majora's Mask from The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition Promotional Disc, it would randomly freeze and lock up on me. Sometimes you might go an hour w/o it doing that and sometimes it would within minutes of getting going. Since Saving is few and far between in this game, you can see how quickly I became frustrated trying to play it.
Thankfully it arrived a year or so later on Wii VC, glitch-free! Now, if Nintendo could hurry up and do a remake on the 3DS, I'd be completely happy!
Haha! Sometimes when my console or computer crashes, I look at it from a technical standpoint. CPU? Internet lag? CD read fail? Sometimes the remote causes are a bit weird and funny to get you annoyed - Can you believe a system freezing when it had to output from HDMI? - Anyway, though, I think hard resetting is a normal thing in a gamer's life.
