No way I'm getting a PS3 though, with the lack of games and the pig headed status of Sony Computer Entertainment. Can anyone take those guys seriously anymore?
It doesn't "lack games", it just doesn't have games you're not personally interested in. Trust me, I've seen how many games they have, there's no way you can say they "lack games". As for "taking them seriously", I don't take them any more or less seriously than any other company, especially since the only people you actually hear from are the guys who are trying to sell you their products - people I'd never really listen to unless I want to hand over my wallet.
First console I ever owned was a Sega Genesis. However, after it broke on us (twice!) my family bought a Super Nintendo. I've been a loyal Nintendo fan ever since. First non-Nintendo console I bought was the XBOX 360, and I have e a PS3 now as well.
Let's see... I have a PS2 and a PS1 (the PS1 I intend on selling). I did have an XBOX 360, but it friggin' Red-Ringed BECAUSE MICROSOFT IS CHEAP AND THEY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT VIDEO GAMES, BECAUSE THEY CAN'T MAKE A STINKIN' GOOD CONSOLE THAT DOESN'T CRAP OUT, BECAUSE THEY'RE JUST IDIOTS, AND NINTENDO WILL RULE ALL!!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! But, seriously though, I think that Sony and Microsoft (especially Microsoft) are WAY out of their league.

You're right, it just lacks games I really like. But you have to admit, it's a not a HUGE variety. I can only buy "Shooter Guy" or "King of button mash" so many times. That's not to say it's all bad, but I'm not buying a console for three games I'm interested in.
Anyway, if you've been paying attention to Sony's executives, they enjoy belittling their competition, when one of their favorite things to do is rip off their designs (if you can say with a straight face that Move isn't a total Wii ripoff, you're only kidding yourself). Plus, they're tech support is abysmal. When I had issues with my PS2, I would often get some outsourced people in India who would give me little to no help, and in the end I would just be sending the system in. Once I sent it in because of disc read errors, and they returned it with a busted fan, and I had to send it in again. Oh, and do you remember that hacking incident? That's pretty terrible that a multi-million dollar company would be prone to serious hacking, but the fact that they didn't fix it for WEEKS is even worse. There's no reason that shouldn't have been fixed within a couple of days.
Whether you like the consoles or not, you have to admit: Sony, right now, is NOT the image of an ideal company.
You forget the Sega Saturn All Sega Console were better then Nintendo's~
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...

Almost every single one. But to off-set that I also have every nintendo system ever made Also my Nintendo systems get the most use of all my systems BY FAR. I ony really have the other systems because I'm a collector and came across them at garage sales and such. The 360, PS3, and PSP were just gifts for birthday, Christmas, etc...
I got the Sega Dreamcast before my N64 and PS2 before the Gamecube. I have the PS2 slim now because my cousin's daughter stepped on a cord while my brother was playing Dynasty Warriors and had a nasty fall that the Gamecube could have survived from.. I really had to throw that in there
My brother owned a Sega Game Gear, N64, PS1, GCN, Xbox, GB Color SPECIAL POKEMON edition, GBA and GBASP (both were black, the GBA was a cool special Toys R us holiday 2002 exclusive), PSP (1000), MKDS Red, DSlite, X360, PS3 and the recent Black Wii.
It looks like my brother had the special edition Nintendo consoles, including the Crimson Red DSlite that came with BrainAge 2 and a nice case Lucky him.
With WiiU coming up, I have less and less reasons to pick up a 360 or PS3 because the lack of games that interest me. But I know I can use my brother's PS3 or 360 to play my favorites such as LBP and Ratchet&Clank (I love the pair). Had Dark Cloud 3 made it out on PS3, then I would really really be out and trying to get my own for sure (and that game was said to be in development for PS3- but it must have been canned by now sadly).
Sega Genesis Sega Game Gear (piece o' crap) Playstation Playstation 2 (my favorite console ever) Playstation 3
I owned a NES and still have my N64, GCN, DSLite, and Wii. No plans on getting the Wii U. Picking up a slim PS2, a PSP once the price drops below $100, and a PS Vita in the future. If, or when, a 2D Castlevania or 2D Metroid come out on the 3DS, I'll then consider getting it.
