I thought I would make a thread to talk about games and consoles your interested in getting since the holidays are real close.

I want:
Final Fantasy VII Remake - PS4
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity - Switch
Super Mario 3D All-Stars - Switch
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s about Time - PS4
And maybe Kirby Fighters 2 on switch.

Currently Playing: Genshin Impact, Smash Ultimate, FFX HD Remaster and whatever I feel like playing

I'm old (read: older than 24 on the internet), and thus I bought most of my holiday games, and I can guess what gift games I'll get, if any.

That being said, I'm really tempted to get the Link's Awakening remake, now that its not inexplicably 60 dollars. GBC version is one of my favorite Zelda games (which, y'know, means its one of my favorite games ever), I'd be thrilled to play it with cute HD graphics and less annoying item management.

@Snatcher good job. That’s no easy task. I’ve done all except the convict, I’m definitely having a bad time with her.

@crashcontrol I finished Final Fantasy VII Remake the week after it launched. Great game, bit overly padded in certain places, but really fun.

I'm looking forward to playing Mario Party and Lethal League Blaze.

I've just picked up the DLC for Xenoblade 2, I'm hoping I enjoy the prequel more(it doesn't have Tora, so I'm hoping it's way less cringe).

That's a really good question. Now that you make me think of it, I really don't crave anything right now, in fact I guess I actually bought too much. Today I got New Super Lucky's Tale discounted (which shamelessly looks so close to Super Mario 3D Land, but for Switch) and I recently got Tales of Vesperia, Super Robot Wars V and Sam & Max, so I guess the only title left now is Bayonetta 1+2.
I could get that for Wii U, but I know next year there will be a Bayonetta 3, so I want to wait for a while... maybe there will be a complete physical collection for Switch, who knows...

I am so looking forward to Doom Eternal. The game should be a blast to play on the go.

The PSVR is the best VR system on the market today.

@kkslider5552000 For your information I bought Link's Awakening today due to the ongoing sale and what you describe is what's going on with it. Gorgeous HD graphics, crisp, and full of nostalgia. I shed a tear when I heard the intro music which is a remix of A Link to the Past central theme. I would say go for it while you still have time to buy it on sale as I don't see another one coming soon.

OP I always make lists of games I want to buy on Apple Notes to be more organized and avoid impulse purchases. These video games are next:

  • Legend of Zelda: BotW (buy it again after Wii U version)
  • Super Mario Odyssey
  • Super Mario 3D All-Stars Version 2 (Super Mario 3D World)
  • Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition
  • Xenoblades Chronicles 2
  • GTA: Vice City (iOS)
  • Bully: Anniversary Edition (iOS)

@Anti-Matter Why not just Just Dance 2021?

I never like Just Dance for 2 reasons: very uninteresting way gameplay and very lame songlist.
I don't even like almost all the songlist, never like Western mainstream licensed songs nowadays as their musics are really terrible for my taste.
Give me Super Eurobeat, give me Euro Trance, give me Hard Trance, give me Techno, i will dance all night long.
That's why only rhythm games by Konami such as Dance Dance Revolution Universe 1 - 3 & Dance Evolution are my choices for Xbox 360. Japanese artist know how to make very good musics.

2. Para Para Paradise
3. DrumMania

5. Pop'n Music
6. KeyboardMania
7. Martial Beat

Mr-Fuggles777

There's nothing much this side of Christmas, Will probably pick up Cold War to play against my nephews over the holiday period apart from that i might pick Cyberpunk up.

I've just bought another Switch for the Mrs so we are happy with Animal Crossing and Diablo for now - i was going to get MarioKart but having to pay full price (twice for each console) for such an old game kills me a little inside so we gave it a miss.

@Anti-Matter I see. Had no idea that Just Dance doesn't include Japanese artists or that it is so shallow. Thanks for replying though.

But believe it or not, European artist are the best artist for making musics for DDR.
Let's say Delta MAX by DM Ashura, Doki Doki Panik Mix by Smile.dk, Anti-Matter (Yes, my username named by DDR X2 song) by Orbit1 & Milo, Your Angel by DM Ashura feat. kors k, etc.

For Japanese artist, i like almost every songs from Naoki Maeda with his aliases, DJ TAKA (Takayuki Ishikawa), Tomosuke Funaki, DJ Simon (Kiyotaka Sugimoto), DJ Yoshitaka, TAG (Yasuhiro Taguchi), U1 or 2MB (Yuichi Asami), Sota Fujimori, Mr. T (Tomoyuki Uchida), TERRA (Junko Karashima + Naoki Maeda), Kozo Nakamura, Hideyuki Ono, Jimmy Weckl (Harumi Ueko), Hirofumi Sasaki, Be For U, Riyu Kosaka, etc.
